@Rocky Nasir Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Thank you for helping me re live one of the best weekends of the year. There were so many moments of joy during that race. The shouts of "Allez Phil Allez" really kept me going when i was starting flag a little. The legs get tired but the soul gets lighter when you feel the support of the crowd and other runners who are sharing their moment with you. Arno, thank you for introducing me to this crazy world of Run Disney and all the wonderful people who are so dedicated to it. By the way, I ran a 1:52 so was Well Happy! Have a good da y'all. Go Skinny.
It was great having you there for the half marathon, looking forward to running Star Wars next year. The atmosphere is always amazing at these races and that can really give you a boost. If you can run 1:52 at Disney with all the curvy paths in the park, you can easily improve on your next race. Way to go!
@@consueelruns i am well involved with the crazy run disney world now. Am signed up for the Star wars race in april. Not sure which side of the force i am comfortable with yet...
Shaggy Runner yeah I love the Disney races, they are so much fun. A lot of my subscribers run Disney races, so this year I had people come up to me constantly, it was kind of surreal. :-)
Jen Sorenson yeah, Disney trips are not cheap, even when we can just drive down it’s still an expensive weekend, so adding a flight to it I can understand a yearly trip might be a bit much. I’m lucky enough to do two Orlando weekends next year, but don’t even want to think about what it’s setting me back. 😂
I have watched this a few times and it still makes me laugh. The part that I really enjoy is reliving the part where you run through the village and seethe circus performers and samba drummers at this 15k markers. These were high points of race for me. Power gel and on we go. Have a good day my friend. Go Skinny!
It was another great half Marathon around the House of the Mouse, and and equally nice to bump into you on the Tram tour ride next day and say thank you in person for all the advice and tips you've given since I started running.
As always, what a nice vid. I really relived the race ones more! Funny to see things now that I didn't see during the race, like: "did a ran through that?". What a brilliant memory, thanks so much and hope to see you in 2020.
When you're running and paying attention to the road and other runners there can be a lot of things you miss during the race. This way you can always look back on it. Hopefully I see you next year.

It was the same Darth Maul, and like last year he ran as Darth Maul for all 3 races. I talked to him and his family outside of the races, so saw him without make up on too, they are Dutch. :-)

It was the first time with the rain sleeve and I thought they wouldn't last, but they stayed on, didn't tear and the profile on the bottom was fine too. I will never run a half marathon with them again though. The reason was something I hadn't even considered before, but besides keeping the rain out it also keeps all the moisture in. My feet were soaking wet when I took my shoes off. My feet all wrinkly like I had soaked in a bath for 2 hours. Not a real great experience for my feet, but it looked good in the photos having yellow shoes. :-)
ConsueelRuns I had a lot of fun on this race. I hope your training is going well. I was out today and just got battered by the wind. Apparently we do this running thing for fun. Take care out there😊
Joerns Dopey Notes if you google rain guards for shoes or rain protector you should find them. They sell them on Ali express. I wouldn’t recommend for long runs though, besides keeping moisture out it also keeps it in so sweat can’t go anywhere and your feet end up soaking wet.
RunArnoRun 😂 I should better see videos till the end. Now I hear that you said what covers they are and a few minutes there is a close up of your shoes. Sorry for my question 🤦🏻♂️
I got one for running the 5K two days earlier, one for running the 10K the day before, one for the half marathon, one for the challenge of running the 10K and the half in two days and one because I ran the marathon at Disney world and the half in Paris in the same year. So that is why the overload of medals. 😄

I loved the course this year. Not sure if I can swing doing it three years in a row, but this gets me excited about all of the other upcoming races.
