- The opposition staged a walkout in Lok Sabha over the NEET paper leak row, on Monday, 1 July. Leader of Opposition, Rahul Gandhi had sought a discussion on the NEET row, but Defence Minister Rajnath Singh objected to hold any such discussions before the Motion of Thanks of President's Address gets over. Gandhi then sought that a separate day be allocated for the NEET discussion after the motion of thanks.

NEET is not a small issue, please do debate even if you have to burn midnight oil. Students have worked hard and more than that their parents have burnt their savings. If mother of PM Modi feels proud when she looks at her son who is now the Prime Minister of the country, then every mother has the right to dream at least, her son may or may not become a doctor but at least she feels happy that my son appeared in an exam that was fair and any intelligent son of a mother has become a doctor if not her son, but in India politicians are corrupt, in this case the ruling BJP, which is making all attempt that issue of NEET to die sooner than Later, MIND IT THE HARD WORK OF STUDENTS WILL NOT GO WASTE , EVEN IF MID TERM ELECTION ARE HELD AGAIN, LET THERE BE A Debate, if no trust motion is to be passed , LET IT BE, ONLY THE HONEST PEOPLE SHOULD RULE THE COUNTRY. NEET EXAM is Good and not a way for rich students to get an entry as said by Rahul Gandhi, NEET is good provided held in a fair way
