VDS definitely benefits the most from this imo, VDS relies more on non dodge shots, so it benefits from hopping and intensity up, as a VDS main I find 2-3 intense up is very good
This really helps out when I use Dualies in splatoon because it can make you a harder target but sometimes it’s hard because sometimes I second roll and I can’t jump
This actually makes me smile I've been using a lot of Splat Dualies lately, in tournament too, and I already do this Technique a fair bit. Hell, my build already has 3 subs of Intensify I'm learning :)
As a Double Squirrel Cheese (Dualies Squelcher) player, I love this video and I going to try to incorporate this technique into my normal play. Great video keep up the good work!
I hope they give the dapples a little more range cus I can definitely tell the difference from splatoon 2 dapples to splatoon 3 dapples and to me S3 dapples are definitely abysmal. I will definitely try implementing the jumps more and see how far I go as a S3 dapple main. I miss my S2 dapples tho 😭
Thank you so much for this, sir! Your videos help me improve with dualies immensely. Without these videos I would've probably taken a lot longer to get to the point where I'm at now.
hi chase! i commented awhile ago when i first got splatoon and how i started using tetra dualies, well i'm A rank now! tysm for all the tips & gameplays! they helped tremendously ❤
When I first got Splatoon 2 (in like 2021- I got it late) I immediately picked up the splat dualies, and then I discovered the dapples, and now in Splatoon 3 after a few years of Dualie experience I wish that I knew more tips and tricks like this! I’ve began picking up the splat dualies again in Splatoon 3 and I honestly wish I knew about Dualie hopping before- I tend to rely a bit to much on my dodge rolls but I’ve started kind of getting out of that habit, obviously dodge rolls are essential to Dualie gameplay but relying too much on it can make you play worse (from my personal experience, everyone plays differently) it’s enjoyable watching these kinds of videos about pro players who play the same weapon class I main (I main more then just one weapon though, but dualies have been my top)
I remember a while back plenty of people were using Tetras when I was using the Dapples often, but after a month or so, I saw more people using Dapples when I was using Tetras 😂 Glad there’s more appreciation for the Dapples because I have a respect for them
As a dapple user, I love hopping XD I start doing it since the last time you mentioned it back in Splatoon2 video, it's good to see you mention this again!
I just came to this video after watching the douser video and just realized ive been doing this with the dapples even since splatoon 2 but for some reason have never even thought of trying it on the douser dualies
I got Quick Respawn on my Shirt, and Punk Black Boots, and got the Chaos Commander Suit for Splatana Stamper. If I try Duelies, because I mostly a Shooter Main. Hope Season 3 gets here with new Kits.
Glooga Player Here I hate to admit it but the Gloogas’ Mid Air Accuracy really is Atrocious. And they deal a specific amount of damage it’s basically useless to even bother jumping.
I dont know for most people, but for me its easier to stop shooting for a a second to jump, that also gives you some momentum in the start that can help you move a bit further
Would you consider making a video on how to practice maintaining your accuracy when dodge rolling? My aim always seems be a bit off after a roll, especially with the tetras. Thank you :)
I wonder if you see this comment, but is it also effective when you squid roll before shooting mid-air? Most of the time when I use Splat Dualies (my fav main) in the Test Range, I squid roll instead of short hopping.
Just remember like dodge rolls don’t spam this it is a useful this but it does get predictable if you use it to much so use it as a mix up not feature of dulies

It used to benefit the most back in S2, but then Nintendo nerfed its midair accuracy. Still good, but not as good as it once was

another method for dualie hopping is to let go of the shoot button for a split second while you press B
As a Double Squirrel Cheese (Dualies Squelcher) player, I love this video and I going to try to incorporate this technique into my normal play. Great video keep up the good work!
you know its legit when chase, THE dualie main makes it.
Thx chase! I've done this before unexpectedly not realizing this was a technique. In my opinion this is useful to increase aim while in mid-air.
I think this will help me alot. I use dualies alot and need to get better so thanks for the help chase

Gloogas struggle so much in this game I swear
just realized i wasnt subbed bruh how
Sick vid btw, mad helpful and I had 0 clue you could do this, ty so much bro
As a dapple user, I love hopping XD
I start doing it since the last time you mentioned it back in Splatoon2 video, it's good to see you mention this again!
I'll start using this on my Tower Control matches, thanks bro
A nice lil hop into a dodge always claps em
I give Chase’s videos five stars out of five for usefulness
I just came to this video after watching the douser video and just realized ive been doing this with the dapples even since splatoon 2 but for some reason have never even thought of trying it on the douser dualies
Considering im tryng to use all the dualies, this will be useful

That works too, but not shooting for just a second can cost you in the heat of battle
This is the ultimate info for a love star counter 😎

Try and practice the drills in this video, they'll help you with that :)

i thought it was really difficult because i kept dodge rolling when trying to do it but thats when i learned that i have controller drift
I never use dualies but this was super interesting!
Is it just me or do I see Stringers & Splatanas more in the current Splatoon 3 meta than the Dualies & Brellas?
I wonder if you see this comment, but is it also effective when you squid roll before shooting mid-air? Most of the time when I use Splat Dualies (my fav main) in the Test Range, I squid roll instead of short hopping.
That works too, but both are good for different situations. You should try and learn both
Thank you Chase!
I'm halfway done to 4 stars with the custom dualie squelchers
Just remember like dodge rolls don’t spam this it is a useful this but it does get predictable if you use it to much so use it as a mix up not feature of dulies
This was painful to read
Grammar wise of info
Hey is a haunt quick respawn build hood on dualie squalchers?
It's decent but not common
Do you have a really good capture card, or did you upscale it? If os, what did you upscale it with?
It also looks like there's better fps?
I upscale it with premiere pro. And yeah premiere has a setting to increase frames with slow mo
Do you think you will do a full tetra guide later in the game like you did in splatoon 2
Yes, it will probably be a while though
@Chase247 that makes sense. I'm guessing after the 2nd tetra kit
That’s great to know. But this isn’t Splatoon 2 anymore. So my dualie skills are out of whack. Plus I plan to max my L-3 Nozzelnose’s freshness.
Normally when I hop, I just press B before ZR. Is it better to release left stick to neutral, or is this just a preference thing?
It's up to you. But a split second of not holding ZR in a fight can be costly if you're unlucky
chase do you think that splat bomb and tacticooler would be good for light tetra dualies? i think it would be great.
Splat bomb yes, tacticooler no
@@Chase247 what would you want as the special? i think that tizooka or tacticooler would be good.
Dapples already have Tacticooler, I don't think Tetras sharing another special with them would be a good idea.
Ok, You Really Need To Get To Racing On The Wave 3 Tracks From The Booster Course Pass, We Had A Sneak Peek Of Wave 4, So You Might Wanna Chop To It
I dont play MK8DX anymore...
@@Chase247 WHAT?! Why Not?!

Bro posting this when am in school do I still watch them ( Yes sir)
Can someone explain exactly what intensify action does
Makes squid roll amd squid surge easier to perform. Increases midair accuracy when jumping.
@@Chase247 thank you so much!!
Can you use 1 main instead of 3 sub slots?
Yes
@@Chase247 ty :)
I played with you in rainmaker on mako mart, but i suck at 4K eliter, i'm so SORRY 💀
or jus jump before you attack
hey chase, in the off-chance you see this comment could you demonstrate the hop tech with hand cam?
Nice
I’m confused explain for a Splatoon noob who’s played since final fest Splatoon 2 :3
What are you confused about?
