My Mom and Dad had a red Sentra they called Rosabella. After Dad gave it to me, I called it Rosie. My next car after that I called Goldie. I may not be inventive or original, but I understand naming vehicles.
Back when my sister and I were teens, our family had a vintage VW convertable that my sister named Stella. Now all VW convertables are named Stella in my mind.

I think it has to do with how reliant this species is on body language and how they can unconsciously express their thoughts, hence "thinking loudly".
