You're right. It absolutely doesn't look like it's been done by a professional graphic design agency. The drop shadow, the spacing, the double outline, the poor visibility of white on blue star and 1874.. But oof, that drop shadow. I hope you're right Pete.
I hope you're right but from what's been going around I really fear it's not going to be a bold modern new design, more a refresh of that amateurish, awful Lerner badge.
The moto prepared, keep are history we do have on so use it , a lion that's got attitude and round bage,the name the moto the year, gold lion claret back ground gold and light blue around cercel

Respectfully disagree Pete. The club have registered the badge with the UK IPO in standard practice for any design or logo to be imminently released to market. They followed the same process with the two design consultation badges last year too. There is simply no way that this is anything other than the proposed design. Furthermore, it is consistent with the design presented to the FAB. One rather worries that Christopher Heck’s abilities have been somewhat overstated given this latest of his myriad missteps since taking the role…
How difficult can it be??? I also don't think the star should be on it either... it's a club badge not our honours list... many clubs who have won the European Cup do not have star/s on their badge like Barca for example... one lion, claret, blue, yellow 🙄 I voted for the gaslamp style one I thought that was really nice 🟣🔵 what the Heck??? 😅
And what about League Titles, FA Cups, League Cups, UEFA Super Cup, Intertoto etc? 😂@@derekhollis197 its a club badge not a trophy room UTV I think it would be more classy for example if we play in the Champions League proper, we can just put a star above the badge on the shirt ⚽ one love

Heck has zero understanding of how the fans feel and yes it does matter Alan. It matters massively. Just shrug your shoulders if the club changed colours or the name of the Holte End or anything else they chose to do without proper and full consultation? Why should the badge be any different?

Yeah the majority voted for a round badge, then a load of those people complained that the lion was facing the wrong way, or that it looked too similar to Chelsea's badge or that the colours were wrong, or that the font looked stupid etc. The point is that firstly you're never going to make people happy with a new crest, and secondly nobody is still complaining about those things now we're second in the league at the turn of the year; nobody will care about whatever badge we end up with for more than a couple of months this time around either, whatever the final result is.
