Just found your channel and loved this vid...I like how yu are getting around the console thing...its kinda daunting as its the first thing you see when you get in the car normally...question...how did you work out the sizing on the hole for the shifter? Was it trial and error? Start small and work up to it? Doing this over, would you have used thicker plastic sheet? Looks easily workable as is, bent nicely around your frame... keep em coming...looking forward to the next one mate
Thickness is fine but could go a bit thicker. I placed the frame in and laid tape down where it meets the shifter. Pulled it out then placed the plastic back on and the tape edges make a perfect outline of where to cut. Hope that helps. Thanks for the support!
When you filled in the corners by the section of double din, you used superglue to attach and then? What is in the little spray can that you said kinda welds the pieces together? TIA.
This car is sooooooo freakin’ rad, dude. Your style is impeccable 👌🏼
Thank you! 😊
Looks great! Been putting the center console off for over a year on my car. Happy to see new videos! Always fun to watch.
I made an abs top for my 55 Chev console, and the heat from the sun warped it
How hot did it get in your car??? I have yet to have an issue with that.

I dig it. Looks clean.

It’s a “kicker” it makes the glue react really fast so you don’t have to hold it there and wait for it to dry
looks nice
