Yeah , definitely this class seems tailored made for Night Elf females, players, str8 outta Warcraft 3 Princess of the Moon 🌙 , from what I remember that hero was OP in that RTS
I played tank starcaller with my buddies, back when starcaller only had 3 specs. It was really fun and I enjoyed all the abilities. Very flavorful class.
This was my favorite class when I joined and level cap was 30. Wearing plate, using a spear, and then having crazy mana regen to nuke foes was so much fun! I gotta pick this game back up.
Something that comes to mind from watching these previews, which are really great btw, that probably could be mentioned somewhere is the race availability for these classes. This class for example, being "night elf: the class". Are there any other races that can be a starcaller, or since you can group with players regardless of faction are there no worries about it being locked to night elves?
Don't see anything wrong with a lil lore friendly accuracy, if it was locked to only Night Elves , but kinda figured Tauren would get this class , seeing that Nigh Elves and Tauren are buddies, weird that they can only use "Bows and Polearms" polearms not easiest weapon to find at early levels
Starcaller is my main right now, I played healer, sentinel and warden, PvP mostly. So first of all healer is pretty unique in terms of mechanics (in simple words it's not that easy to be good in pvp as healer starcaller), I enjoyed healing tbh, even if it was a bit hard. Melee and ranged specs are fun in theory, but in practice I don't understand why they use intellect (especially when Riftblade Runemaster got agility instead of intellect and Stalking Venomancer also uses intellect instead of agility). Sentinel (and most of ranged shooter dps specs in game) has 30yds range (please give us more :D) - in PvP against casters it's just almost unreal to win fights, tho you have good damage overall. Warden is supposed to be a bursty spec I guess, but he does 0 damage and has bad survivability (you literally have to pick tank and healer talents). There was even a funny moment when I engaged in WSG against low level reaper (20% hp I think) and I was completely destroyed by him with all my CDs. Anyway - Starcaller is the most interesting class to me and I will level him first when COA releases. Just keep in mind that he needs some buffs, and casters overall on COA look better than melee xD Now I'm playing Sentinel just because he has better survivability than Warden.
Starcaller, to me, was the most fun class. Loved it when I played it during ZG and early MC, but haven't since. Hopefully the ranged version is much better nowadays.
this is what Night Elf fans wanted since Vanilla!! Can't believe private servers are doing this before that dumb company. Gonna make an account right now!!!!
Can you create class for Emerald Nightmare?) Or a "corrupted druid" class, generally speaking. Where there would be a Druid of Death, a Druid of Fel, a Druid of Nightmare. So far, it doesn't seem like you've created a class with a "speaking with nature" theme - but here you have a necromancer, a reaper, and other classes! "Defiler, Corruptor, Rotroot" would fit in perfectly here. Something like that. Where the concepts of evil druids would be concentrated. You could even take a botanical theme - with spores! Zombie Plants, like orcs. And other monsters!
Anyone who played this class in the alpha: How difficult is the tank spec? I’m a total newbie when it comes to tanking, but I figured I’d give it a go for leveling in this beta.
Seems like, at a macro level, red mage from FF14. A mix of range and melee phases with mana spending and regen mechanics while also being mobile. Seems pretty cool
Maybe a dumb question, but aren't you afraid of Blizzard shutting down your project ? You seem to have put so much work (and money probably) into these classes, it'd be so sad if the project had to end.. How do you manage that ?
I have to admit. As great as these classes look I am a little worried that the "all of them can fill any role" approach may discourage players from trying out different classes. It still look very good though. I was waitting for the starcaller video the most and it didn't disapoint.
What ever doesn't end up in CoA , hopefully gets a place on the "Area 52/Elune" Archtype "Spell Breaker , Scarlet Monk, Blade Master , Brew Master, Apothecary , Sapper " would be awesome to see in the future
Have a starcaller, love the ranged game play...but a thought just occured to me. moon guard...isnt that the old server that had nsfw rp in goldshire???
Moon guards in lore were city defenders during the War of The Ancients. They are powerful Night Elf warriors who fought demons and protected the Queen.
I tried ascension years ago. Wtf has this turned into? I didn't know custom classes were being implemented. All I remember is you can pick and choose abilities from any of the vanilla classees
Can't wait for all the female Night Elves named with a variation of "Tyrande" on the open beta.
true and real.
See you ingame as xxTyrándxxe
@@Mcguinness3 As a hunter enjoyer, I definitely will, Xxdarktyrandexx

haha I'm already called Tyrandé on retail lol

This got some good attention, innovation nicely done.

Kudos to the thumbnail guy. Beautiful

Night Elves, Dranaei, Blood Elves, and Tauren can all be Starcallers!

This like the other classes look auhmazing! How can you make something that seems to flawlessly fit into lore and the game so well

Well, as a new player I can say that I have officially found my class to play.
Looks. Sick! Great work from the preview.
Best class!
Ooh dang 3:19 patch that up in the Archtype Warden on Area52/Elune
this is what Night Elf fans wanted since Vanilla!! Can't believe private servers are doing this before that dumb company. Gonna make an account right now!!!!
That’s my call, guys :)

Seen , those on Area 52 , they do have a Archtype Nightmare Druid Bear form , something related to what you're saying
@@joezar33
It is just Nightmare Bear.
We need More Like NIGHTMARE DRUID.
Corrupt, summon a treant, dryad, and more of Ruby-Creatures, debuff on fear!
Nice. Gotta try this one out
Im working on primalist right now - this one probably next for me
Primalist not in this beta coming up ? Is it ?
My main probably❤

Any plans for a mac port
Is this going to be and Alliance Exclusive class? Cause i dont see a horde race that can use moon powers, maybe taurens? idk
Blood Elves and Tauren can both become Starcallers!
Can starfire be used for cooking ?
Maybe a dumb question, but aren't you afraid of Blizzard shutting down your project ? You seem to have put so much work (and money probably) into these classes, it'd be so sad if the project had to end.. How do you manage that ?
Dose felsworn still have wings in demon form ?

It still look very good though. I was waitting for the starcaller video the most and it didn't disapoint.
Will this ever be free like normal ascension or will it always cost 15k gold or 20 dollars?
Spell breaker…a classic…one that deserves its place…
What ever doesn't end up in CoA , hopefully gets a place on the "Area 52/Elune" Archtype "Spell Breaker , Scarlet Monk, Blade Master , Brew Master, Apothecary , Sapper " would be awesome to see in the future
Hmmm…the Dark Ranger…might be wise to attempt to list what is remembered…

So Cool
isnt this basically a balance druid lore wise
spiffy concept, would be great if it was real. need more plate wearers imo
You can play the Starcaller right now on the Conquest of Azeroth Open Beta Test
Tera Valkyrie converted to WoW. With bows!
