I've been really enjoying Twin Peaks! I am about half way through it, and I can see David Lynch's influence growing now that viewers are hooked. It's been great.
Thanks Josh for yet another great analysis. This has to be Lynch’s greatest work. It oozes atmosphere and incredibly given Eraserhead has such humanity and heart. And yes Freddie Francis work is just astonishing.
My favorite Lynch movie is The Elephant Man. I suggest this to others, but it's hard to get them interested. No one ever seems to follow through. I recently rewatched it a few weeks ago, and it still holds up. Easily one of my all-time favorites.
Great to hear! I can see where you could run into trouble getting others to see it though. As straightforward as it is for a David Lynch film, it’s still a black and white Victorian drama. Not exactly an easy sell but definitely worth it!

It’s trippy to consider that Anthony Hopkins has worked with David Lynch when you consider the rest of his filmography
