There are a lot of other RUclipsrs doing "how to" videos for this product in a totally wrong way and at this point I'm pretty convinced that you're the only person demonstrating how this cream is actually intended to be used. After watching this, I absolutely love it and use it every single day. You should literally be the spokesperson for this cream. Honestly, thank you so much.
Great review on this product. I just received mine in the mail and I completely did not apply this correctly. I looked in the mirror and scared myself as I looked like a Geisha 🤦♀️. Then realized how much product I just wasted. . I was also not sure if it should have been applied with a beauty sponge or some type of makeup brush . You certainly answers all my questions . That s not enough SPF but it s not because it s SPF 30 but because the layer that was applied is not enough, needs to be every cm covered, including the eye area. This product (when talking about its SPF properties, would work so well for an indoor SPF shield, because UVa comes through the window so for indoors, it s amazing.

I’m a guy, and I got this as a “freebie” from Sephora when I ordered something else. (A decent amount too, .33 fl oz) I haven’t really used it, but should I give it a go??? 🤷🏻♂️ Looks like you don’t need that much, and I like the idea of an SPF even though I’m not outside too much during the day. Where did you get this idea? First never rely on SPF in a moisturizer or makeup. Always apply a sunscreen. As for application, this isn’t a moisturizer it’s a correcting cream and should be applied with that in mind. You have beautiful clear skin and for you it works. For people like me who has broken capillaries and redness around my nose, will require more product. It can be used both morning and night. Also it can be used over other skin products such as serums and creams. Dr Dray has a great video review of the product.
R S get what idea? Spf IS moisturizer most of the time. This is not a moisturizer though this is a barrier protecting cream that acts as an spf and color corrector. This is how I use it it doesn’t mean you have to use it the same way💋

It shouldn’t be used as a moisturizer. It’s a color correcting cream. I use it to hide my broken capillaries. First I apply my serums and sunscreen then apply this on my red spots. I don’t use it on my entire face. When it dries I use a gel moisturizer by CeraVe then I apply my makeup.
Please note that the acronym SPF stands for sun protection factor and is simply a measure of the coverage. It does NOT mean “sunscreen.” Saying “wearing an SPF” is meaningless. You cannot wear a factor. If you mean sunscreen, then please say sunscreen. It is a simple, easy, and accurate word. Everyone, please remember to put sunscreen (not SPF) on your ears! An important place that we can sometimes forget.
When you say you sometimes go over it all w/a powder, I’m assuming your referring to a foundation powder of some kind? Any suggestions on a specific brand that you find works exceptionally well w/this underneath? And do you finish-off w/a setting spray or not necessary?

I love the Laura mercier translucent setting powder it’s the best IMO. You can get it in the travel sized section of Sephora to try it too.
