Tasty Turkey Cookie Pops - Baking with Kids

Nothing says “fall” like a turkey! These fun and easy to make Turkey Cookie Pops are sure to be a hit at your next gathering. Simple to make but oh so delicious and adorable, this kitchen project is perfect for all levels of bakers. What are we waiting for?! Let’s go!

Now, LET’S MAKE TURKEY COOKIE POPS!
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this fluffy pumpkin creation.
Ingredients:
Sandwich cookies (we use golden oreos in our video, but you can use any sandwich cookie in the flavor of your choice)
Candy corn
Candy eyes
Fondant (red and orange)
White candy melts
Here’s what you do:
Roll out the parchment paper on the counter (these can get messy!) and melt your candy melts in the microwave for about one minute and 30 seconds (it’s easiest if you use a glass that is deep enough to submerge the entire cookie in)
Open up your sandwich cookies, dip the end of a lollipop stick in the melted candy melts and place it on one half of the cookie and sandwich the cookie halves back together. Let them set for about 5 minutes.
Once the lollipop stick is nice and secure inside the cookie, dip the cookie all the way into the candy melts until entirely covered. And place it on parchment paper.
Before your candy melts can harden add 4-5 candy corns for tail feathers, two eyes, a beak made from the orange fondant, and a “gobbler” from the red fondant.
That’s it! Once you’re done with your turkeys, place them in the fridge to help speed up the setting time.
