I love how Rachel’s post birth tummy is showing up, while she’s seated in the bed. Nice little touch by the creators👍
Wow, I’m surprised no one ever pointed out the fact that he already proposed but was turned down.
the one out of maybe 3 bad things about Friends, was Joey and Rachel storyline. So forced at the end of the show, because it appeared out of nowhere in season 8 out of all 10 seasons, and never made sense, ever. Even actors hated it - this tells you all you need to know. 3 bad things about Friends: Joey&Rachel storyline, the fact that Ross&Rachel weren't reunited sooner and written fighting less, and the fact that we didn't see Ross&Rachel wedding. Except for all these 3 things, Friends was perfection.
Oh irl I can totally see Joey and Rachel ending up together, they're actually compatible.
Most couples would separate if they had as much drama as Rachel and Ross.
It's not healthy at all.
But I get that it's a TV show and people just expect their OTP to end up together 😅 lol
Monica and Chandler are more like the true OTP of friends, they have problems but they navigate them like adults. I like it 😊

"Yowza!" While I didn't care for this entire storyline, Joey's facial expressions and reactions make up for it.
I will not pretend that this storyline wasn't made to drag out the show and the will they won't they thing with Ross and Rachel, but tbh Joey and Rachel are a healthier couple than Ross and Rachel

She saw Joey put the ring in Ross's coat, so she thought Joey was just quickly hiding the ring, and that he chose a poor place to hide it

Why couldn't the writers just get Ross and Rachel back together at the end of season 8? This whole constant teasing of them getting back together, just for it to go nowhere, reached an all-time low. Joey and Rachel were just cringey.
The dragging worked gave us a peak series end

Probably one of the "Jumping the Shark" moments of this show, and one I always skip when rewatching. I get that Rachel was tired from just having had a baby, but the whole mess could have been easily resolved with one brief conversation. So of course, Joey keeps getting interrupted when he tries to explain what happened.
I know. That kind of "misunderstandings" thing is so lazy

I love Friends, but this was such a silly plotline. Easily avoidable misunderstandings on top of each other... I hate when writers do that, it's so lazy

As if Ross&Rachel thjng isn't mess up enough they decide to include Joey in it.
It was such a stupid storyline, clearly just for the pure comedy and laughs. It was awful behavior on Joey's part, towards both, Ross and Rachel. Joey didn't propose. He picked up the ring by accident without any intention and it was a cringe, stupid storyline. It was Ross's family ring. I'm fed up with people always only being negative about Ross yet NEVER calling out other characters for their horrible behavior. Joey lied to Rachel& Ross by omission, never clarifying anything to Rachel or saying anything to Ross.
Context made it 1000 more horrible: Rachel was the new mother of the baby of his best friend and the love of the life of his best friend. This is breaking the bro code 1000 times over. He had ALL day, to tell the truth, that it wasn't a proposal and it wasn't even his ring, yet he didn't say a word, allowing Rachel to think he proposed, and also never told Ross that he acted this way and that he literally used Ross's ring. If that was not enough, it was just after Rachel had Ross's baby!!
It was a betrayal, Friends don't act like this, especially since Joey knew what Rachel means to Ross. They ruined Joey's character with this stupid, nonsense storyline and what's worse they started it in season 8 for pure idi0tic laughs because we know it didn't go anywhere. It was one of the WORST moments of the entire show! I'm glad even the actors: Jen and Matt Le Blanc, hated this storyline and wanted it to end; they talked about it in various interviews.

Cringe, forced, stupid storyline just for laughs, typical for a sitcom, yes, but even the actors: Matt Le Blanc and Jennifer, famously hated this Joey-Rachel storyline, and they said it in various interviews. The only saving grace of these episodes with this storyline is the one when Ross is fine because it is one of the most brilliant and hilarious episodes of Friends, thanks to David Schwimmer's Tour de France acting performance in it! 🤣😂 The One when Ross is fine is the only reason I forgive the writers for this nonsense because, without the Joey&Rachel thing, we would never get when Ross is fine - he could only react like this to smth like Joey&Rachel, and it was genius, David is a pure comedy genius.
The one where Ross is fine is undisputed in terms of legendary status.
My only gripe with it is that we didn't get to see "the dance" 😂

Actually surprisingly popular nowadays, not as popular as the other opinion, but still pretty popular.
I think this is why some people have a hard time understanding why real life celebrity couples break up, they think because they look great together and they ship them together then that means they should be together ...
People break up all the time and find comfort with other people, it's how things work...
If viewers were to apply that to friends, Joey would be the person Rachel ends up with, not Ross.
Ross would end up with a beautiful scientist that he's more compatible with. Could have ended up with Mona too, she was great, but the Rachel weird drama stopped that from happening.

Boyfriends, girlfriends, husbands and wifes come and go, HOWEVER , since the moment you become a father/mother until the day you die, ONLY THE LAW IN A FEW SCENARIOS,can take a baby away from you.
The show gives you SUSAN 'S character to understand It, so now, its the same to Ross with one of his suppossed BEST Friends.
And if you just look the script,well this garbage uses LOVE to kill the main point of the show....FRIENDSHIP.
