you can go with a clay and some other products, I made this hairstyle and more extreme. Heat protection spray is opional but, useful to protect the hair when you use the iron, the 2nd product is an overkill, after the styling any stong haispray will help to keep it. Pro hairstyle products are worthy the extra $, I would reccomend to stick to the one you prefer and use.
All you need is a salt water spray and blow dry it , then add product of choice (anything work as long as you learn what is the products limit , and by that i mean how much you use .)
