dude i totally needed to see this. i've opened the wavetable editor a couple times and have gotten intimidated but now i'm ready 4 it. your tutorials are entertaining AND super educational. in depth without getting too deep into the rabbit hole. ty!! you are a natural teacher
Good work bro! I'm engineer and musician and I love the fast fourier transform (FFT) applied on music because I feel it like my knowledge areas can be together.
Dude that's so sweet, thank you so much for explaining the wave editor in a way I can understand - specifically the functionality of the bins pertaining to the number of cycles per waveform! Such a godsend!
You probably dont give a damn but does anyone know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I somehow forgot the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me!
Do you have any effects on the mixer tracks when you design these sounds, or is this straight Serum? Also, any tips or sources I can find to learn a bit more about OTT compression? Love your videos man. I am trying very hard to make some good tunes but the mastering is tough for me so far.
Great video! I would personally like to see more like this. Starting with a sound and reproducing it is great; but to draw a comparison. It is like you are trying to teach someone a language by speaking it to them. You will never become fluent by simply being able to speak a language. To truly manipulate it, you need to understand the fundamentals of sentence structure, and spelling. Frequency and phase are the fundamentals, my friend. Keep up the good work!!
Parabola or parabolic curve is the word you were looking for btw :] I'm embarrassed because I'm familiar with additive synthesis like this because sytrus has an engine in it that works the exact same way, but I wasn't sure of the controls so I never tried on serum. Great work man.
Actually I almost said Parabola; but thats not correct! A parabola or parabolic curve is symmetrical and and has 2 ends from the vertex. I was looking for exponential decay, which more accurately represents the bins. Any way, I’m glad you’re playing around in the FFT!

True!!
And in harmor!
also, sytrus can draw with any waves, not only sines,

Dude of course! This thing is so awesome!!!
Love your enthusiasm and how you show and teach your viewers! Keep it up!

Your very welcome :)
Lmao Literally so true on not wanting to touch the FFT editor. I use Serum so much but never want to mess with it
I know right!
Thanks maaan... I can't find this to anyone else. Great job :)
Harmonic Editor it is. 🙂
I’m with ya Vincent!!

you meant fibbionaci curve. also present in the Pythagorean theorem. The math behind octaves and frequencies
Mastadon - Wicked .... please do any sound recreation tut from this tune and i would DIE
