I agree with you, this boss battle theme, have got to be, one of the most tense boss battle themes in the whole series, and IMO this theme is much scarier than the final boss theme itself!
Funny thing is that many of the boss aren't even villains. And I'm not even talking about possessed allies or the Virus at the begining. Alls of Kowloon Co. Boss aren't really evil, yet, they have that boss battle theme.
AT Change affects weakness and type for non elemental digimon like Grimmon. It changes attack builds and weaknesses. If you can't be ready for those, you cant win.
8 years later, but I can't help myself I completely ignored when they did that and continued to spam whatever my most effective move was. Worked like a charm.
@FLForrest Compared to Lost Evolution, weaknesses and resistances don't really impact the game all that much. Pick a move that hits 3 zones and watch the damage pick up ✨️
I HATE YOU WITH A PASSION, SKULLBALUCHIMON. That was easily the longest and most drawn out battle for me in the entire game. Not even Gaia Origin was as much of a pain than he was.
Kinda makes sense why that happened look at its description: SkullBaluchimon is an Undead Digimon and a carrier of the X Antibody whose name and design are derived from "Skull" and the Baluchitherium. It is a gigantic Digimon reproduced from the data of several counterfeit fossils, which were in the data of a fossil of what was thought to be the largest land mammal. It has no emotions or intelligence, and because its body operates by reflex with only the data of the nerves laid out within its body, it keeps mercilessly attacking until it can no longer move. It is said that it will plunge any Digimon into the terror of death, either from the curse which forcibly revived it from the data of its corpse, or the cold black vapors which flow unceasingly from its DigiCore.
Jingy2003 That face when you realize world dawn had this worthless ass seadramon for the boss of this area. Skullbalchimon was a bitch, endless poison for days.
@velosify Actually, it's played for regular bosses as well. When I faced Aquilamon in data mountain (I think it's called) this music played. Though is is true, this doesn't play for quest bosses not relating to the story.
@velosify Every bosses of the main story, barring EXOGrimmon have this theme. The virus, Koh/Sayo (not when fought in the arena) Aquilamon (dawn) Grimmon, ChaosGrimmon, Anc ChronoGallantmon/ChronoOphanimon all have this battle theme. Same for the Gaia Origin bosses,
@NeoArashi I'm unsure but what i thought it did was changed the digimon's weakness element somehow. Honestly beats me, always seemed to be a wasted turn and enjoyable at that.
i didnt really like this game as much as world ds, for 1, this boss music is not as epic, and your character is silent, and your starters seem a bit overpowered
BenjoTooie I hate to say it, but I do think that digimon world ds is the better game as well, if for different reasons. Digimon world ds had some balancing issues and digivolving your digimon was sometimes pretty messed up. Dawn and dusk fixed this and refined the gameplay and battles quite a lot. They’re not perfect, but I think they’re better. However, for whatever reason, the story of dawn and dusk took a significant hit. Everything is mission-based, possibly to break up the pace on occasion, but that can cause you to lose track of what was going on. Not to mention that the plot is also sporadically dumped on you. I really do like both games, but I think ds is just a bit better.
Man the childhood memories are flooding back, it took me ages to defeat the final boss.
SAME
Geez these battles are long and the music is tense along with it. It feels like you really are fighting this evil digimon

First time I heard this I got so scared xD I mean, this song while I'm fighting some time of floating sparkly skull.. was creepy
GamerJoseKun I can also relate to you, first time I heard this, I kinda stared for a few seconds or minutes, to think that this was rated E+10/E10+ xD

Virus: I will delete you from existence.
*ultra intense theme plays*

I steamrolled him. Had the "balanced" team start and used A.O.E. attacks. Done in about 4 turns.
#Biggerisnotbetter

Huh, rather interesting.
I used the attack team from the start.
Jingy2003 That face when you realize world dawn had this worthless ass seadramon for the boss of this area.
Skullbalchimon was a bitch, endless poison for days.
Jingy2003 It's funny, I found SkullBaluchimon to be no problem. Dusk was easier than dawn in my opinion ._.
Does anyone else remember that one jungle area that was easy, but the triple boss at the end absolutely demolished your team?
Not really, lol.
@@NeoArashiSorry, I thought this was for a different argument. You are free to call me a moron.
I do remember the area but not the boss lmao
@@cosmictraveler1146 It was the rival and their team.
nothing was more intense that taking on the gaia origin with an impmon, dark tyrannomon, and a leomon
Yeah, there was an error in the title, thanks to bringing that up for me. *fix*
That Piano though! x'D
By the way: you guys hear that background noise?

My team: ShineGreymon, WarGreymon, Apollomon, Megidramon, Ophanimon. Anyone that dont like it can go throw a table at themselves.

I finally finished my Dawn team. My main joy is my Paladin Mode. Though my Gallantmon Crimson Mode and Cherrubimon Good are close seconds.
@NeoArashi AT Change Switches the defence and attack of the digimon.
Imagine having this song in Synthesia, just imagine, how it would’ve looked like...XD
been awhile since i played and i always remembered this as the boss theme so what is rlly the boss theme o.o
Everything I have is Holy except for my two dark digis, Lucemon CM and ChaosGallantmon (I have Crimson too
@NeoArashi i was wondering that too so i looked it up. it restores their MP.
@NeoArashi I'm unsure but what i thought it did was changed the digimon's weakness element somehow. Honestly beats me, always seemed to be a wasted turn and enjoyable at that.
love this song!!!
@Pokemonoverlord547 I take it you either own Dusk, or main dusk (if you have both) Well, so do I.
@NeoArashi it means attribute change
Hahaha same here. though my main team consist MOSTLY of Holy digimon (Which is one of Light Fang's speciality ;)
pro-night crow *nod* (i cant help that i hate the light =d)
You are dying. If you do not act, you will be DELETED. This course of non action will lead to DELETION.

AT Change fails.
