The Vandalorian's defense was on point today. Reaves, DLO, and Dennis all had great moments in this game to help win. Crazy thing is Bron didn't even play all that well and it took the Warriors so many threes just to stay close with us, if we cut half of those three's in the second game, we might just leave The Bay area with two wins! 👀

That 4th qt run by the warriors gave me a mini heart attack. It just shows the playoff experience of the roster to close out games.

Yup! We will most likely shoot better than that. Maybe have a 13-15 three game while the warriors will struggle to recreate the amount of threes they hit last night. Curry you can count on but Klay and Poole have struggled
@@beckmanchilds756 this is exactly why I think game 2 is winnable. The warriors as a team aren’t gonna shoot any better than they did last night and I can’t imagine an even worse shooting night for the lakers come game 2. I think Lebron needs to be better offensively tho and if he is, it wouldn’t surprise if LA takes game 2.
Lakers players look more ready and fresh to face this match, the mentality of champions James and AD supports the team to play amazingly, the atmosphere of the arena doesn't prevent the Lakers from taking game 1

I think Schroeder deserves a ton of credit. Coming back to the lakers on minimum, playing as hard as he does night in night out, getting yelled at by our leaders every other game but Bouncing back. I know Vando was amazing and he has been dubbed our defensive mindset but Schroeder as well. Seeing he put in 19 points last night blew my mind because it looked like he was just a pest for Curry, Poole, and Klay all night long. He been this all year and when he was with us 2 years ago
Ham subbing out Vando late in the 4th was a huge mistake. It allowed Curry to get going. A lot to clean up on but also a lot of great things we saw in game 1!
Let's get greedy and take game 2 as well!
Vando had 5 fouls so he needed to save him for the final minutes.

I would agree with you if Vando didn’t have 5 fouls aha. It was unfortunate but I bet Vando can clean that up next game.
Vando is the key to winning this entire series. AD cleaning up the glass and being a defensive tower is one thing but it's not going to mean much if Curry can cook his usual... Locking Curry down and forcing the Warriors to go inside where AD can swat the shit out of em is the way to win it all IMO.
6:56 Lebron said "keep your hands on the ball, okay?" to Schroeder. Davis then says "go go go". I never seen these two guys get so serious. I love it when the Lakers are so locked in on an opponent.
maybe Schroder suggested to miss FT on purpose.

@@dinho7997 Hard to say. Schroeder has his back to the camera so you can't see his lips. It seems like the coach drew up a play to have Schroeder run to the opposite side to get free. Lebron just told him to not lose the ball. AD probably told Schroeder that right after he set's a pick for Schroeder to "go go go" right after he has a chance. If you watch the play, AD sets a pick and as soon as Schroder clear's AD, he just ran as fast as he can. If someone says "no" they usually move their head left and right. I don't think he said "no".

MAN!!! I know we won't be getting the same monster performance from AD every game, but he was a BEAST in this one! I think this series will come down to whichever team has more role players that can score / defend consistently. Tonight, LAL had more (Vando, DLo, DS, and AR15)

Amazing Win! Lakers won by controlling the tempo, limit turnovers and defense. They didn't allow GS to run fastbreak and shoot like crazy until the end because Vando wasn't subbed in to guard curry.
😒 I think it's because it was crunch time...and they used Dennis for free throws...vando probably not a good free throw shooter? But I agree vando should be there to guard curry all the way to the end
