I recently went 9 weeks without a drink from drinking everyday previously.
Everything he said is true, including the part where you still miss it.
Being an alcoholic is no good. But drinking socially is good.

Ive drunk more in my life than most people have had roast dinners. I could have bought 3 pubs.
5 years sober and never felt better. I can now go to the pub with mates and not join them in the chaos of alcohol.
Instead I watch them make absolute asswhipes of themselves, the misses leave them and see the distruction unfold around them.
Yeah , i live in a small rural town where if you don't drink they say " Whats wrong with ya mate?"
Alcoholics are always alcoholics. If people NEED to drink, wether its daily or weekly they are alcoholics.
My life , my choice.
Dont judge others by what they dont do, dont judge by what they do.
If individuals cant go a month without the grog, they are alcoholics.

😂 I found dry july so easy, when nature intervened & I was pregnant. Which meant all my gestation periods when I was were including July so I was 100% happy I could do it for charity as it makes it so worthwhile personally & supporting my community too 👍😊
