I have the exact same bike in NYC in 100% Ducati Red. With only 18K mi. this bike thinks it's a 2020! It must be dyslexic - you know.. 2002 -> 2020. @frm jerry is absolutely correct and I've always said it: 2002 - 2003 are the most elegant R1s ever designed.
@@CamonSims Heh-o yeah! I paid $3K in 2017 and in great shape (never dropped and lovingly cared) and its been nothing but terrifying joy. I am tuning it now and getting ready for my MSF course and test. Good Luck purchasing!
Found a nice 2002 , going to get in couple weeks.. needs clutch handle.. an probably a new whole clutch just to be on safe side , guy said it tattered or slipped a Lil figure it sitting for 5 years plate groves are filled in.. never had a bike like this.. but I seen it an love it for some reason
