It's so unfortunate watching these two in the media. It's clear Mal has an addiction whether it's drugs or the wife. Mel is beyond the disgusted phase and is in the tired phase. At some point IF YOU WANT to do better enough you WILL do better. I've experienced different phases with family members with addictions. It's tough because we make our own decisions in life and I can't want it more than you!

I don’t know if you got brother, but I can tell you as someone that does. That load get tiring especially if that person still find ways to screw up. It shouldn’t spill out in the public but unfortunately it did.

You can hope someone you love and care abt gets it together all you want, but when you know in your heart that you are unsure based on the things you’ve seen and know on an intimate level, sometimes you really and truly do not know. I’m going through that with my younger brother presently. I’m praying for him and hoping for the best but to say I know for sure he’ll bounce back and be ok would be a bold faced lie. Jermell had faced adversity already and lost knows what it feels like and knows that he don’t wanna feel that way again he is on a mission for recognition jermall on the other hand has not faced the adversity so doesn’t wanna fail and doesn’t know how to fail so he’s tormenting himself with a bunch of what if’s mental health is real and you can overwhelm yourself very easily without telling anyone and that’s one’s of the examples scared to fail

I actually liked Jarmall more when they were younger because he was stronger and could KO people while Jermell would go the distance in fights and win on decisions!I hope he gets his mojo back because I thought he would be dominant at his weight class!Maybe it is a thing with PBC fighters as they sometimes fight once a year !A young fighter should be fighting 3-4 times a year to stay sharp! A former boxer once told me that sparring does more harm to a boxer than actual fights because all the wear n tear happens in sparring! A lot of fighters are independent now and could move around to other networks to get fights!If you get 10M at PBC and you could get 2-3M elsewhere between fights, they ought to take it because time waits for no one and there are a lot of young, hungry boxers coming through now!

I understand folks that everyone goes through certain issues but I feel as though the sanctioning bodies need a more specific explanation than, 'I'm going through some things"...I mean I go through a lot but I still get up and go to work everyday.🙄 There needs to be some validity to any reason of holding up the title for two full years🤨...a year, okay I can show empathy for a year🤔...but TWO😳😮....I mean how is this FAIR to the hard-working blue collar boxer that would like their opportunity of becoming a world champion...along with receiving a significant career high pay day....this sort of thing is putting other boxer's livelihood on hold! That fight was due immediate acceptance when Crawford was shellacking Spence and challenging Charlo - simultaneously ! People are easily eating what is presented rather than T H I N K I N G logically and on integrity. I had a few sparring partners that I do miss [ being raised ] at The Petronelli AC Brockton MA USA. Going up two weight divisions for absolutely no reason against the boss of said weight is serious and worth investigating.
