This is how to do gaming right. They do right by their players and stay true to their vision. It fills me with joy to have people like them in the gaming landscape. Imagine if every development was like this. I appreciate everyone that works on Bloodstained so very much. So refreshing.

Then they just went radio silent and 3 years later gonna blame covid. get tf outta here with that. Then the co-op mode people were waiting for the whole time looks boring, like they just threw in a second character into the game and added cheap little challenges per room. nah miss me with that bs. these are kick starter goals too so they actually owe the fans these modes, they're not something extra they're doing for their fans, they need to release this content because if not then that would mean they stole from people. this "devs can do no wrong" attitude is for straight blue haired cucks. also classic mode is straight hot garbage trash. people who want to act like they like that clunky stiff gameplay over the new and improved gameplay of og bloodstained are just lying to themselves.

Seriously. I'm always iffy about Kickstarter games because like 90% end up going nowhere or were scams to begin with. I trusted this one due to Iga being involved but I still didn't think the product would be so good and get so much post-launch support. This team is a blessing. Ironic, since Shenmue 3 sold out to epic and ended up being a bad game
@@Kougeru IGA is a man filled with dedication and love for what he does. He wants to make games in a given genre and he'll take any chance to do it. We need developers like him who have that one-in-ten-thousand amount of grit to rise up. It's such a labor of love. And he wants to do sequels!

The Dominique mode is huge news. A clear reference to Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest. It looks like a whole new game within the game.
Everyone hates on Castlevania 2 but it basically laid the groundwork for what would become Symphony of the Night.

@@TJBrumfieldThe music in the game was fantastic. My opinion is that the only issue with CV2 was that the clues were badly localized. Some hints ended up not being hints at all! Because of this, it was quite difficult to progress in the game.

Hopefully level progression is a lot less obtuse then how it was handled in Simon's Quest.

Finally get that Dominique mode I wanted for forever. Keep up the great work. I legit thought the game was complete after the last character was added tbh. So getting more content is a nice surprise.

There is a REASON I'm showcasing the game as a masterwork in beauty, guys.
Your team put so much love into the design it's impossible not to notice. The art design, the color depth, the musical arrangements, the story, the characters, the layers upon layers upon LAYERS of character growth opportunities to give pure freedom of play style to the player.
It's beautiful, it's brilliant, it's fascinating. It's a glimpse into games approaching perfection.
I fondly look back on Bloodstained as one of the best games I've played in the last 10 years. Thank you for all your hard work.
Take all the time in the world, Team Bloodstained. The game was an amazing accomplishment when it came out, and only got better with every upgrade. I can't wait to play the online modes, especially with my friends. Also, quite interested in Classic Mode II: Dominique's Curse. Looks like it'll be a fun ride. Also, the devil costume is amazing.
2 million is a good number. And I am very happy to see the new mode plus new costumes!

I commented a while ago saying I would have loved a continuation of Dominiques story for bloodstained 2 since she has the same themed ability's as Miriam but the fact you actually did it for a classic mode is still amazing. Always want more Dominique :)
i don't care about the extra costumes, my Myriam is already very powerful and versatile, but i will buy simpon's quest 2. it would be great if they were to release a physical version that includes all the dlc for all consoles INCLUDING the xbox one and ps4

Fans of Ritual of the Night should check out Blasphemous. Fantastic metroidvania which has some cool Bloodstained content since they did a crossover.

OH...you cheeky son of a gun....that new Classic mode is straight up Castlevania 2 style day and night transition lol. At least it's faster than the OG game on the NES back in the day. I'm down for it, though I wonder if this is the rumored "Sequel" I've heard about. If it is, cool enough but if not...I can't wait to see what is being cooked up for a sequel to Ritual of the Night.
And yet no update to fix the problem in iOS port? Seriously??
Many people who already bought your game from App Store even can’t start to play your game, it’s always crashes on iPhone. How you will solve this problem??
Ok, the new story DLC interests me, but with it being paid I worry now we won't ever get a complete physical version of this game, and it SORLY needs one. The rest of the stuff is just fluff we really don't need, and there's also the fact it seems to have pushed the game into an "always online to play" even if you just want to play the main game and not these extra online diversions.

Question- will this update come to android as well? And if it does you also fix the port? I'm a big fan of the game and my tablet is more powerful than my laptop so I play it the play store version, but it's so bad that that I had to go online and fetch and earlier version since the bugs on the latest version made impossible to complete main game...
Would love to play this new content on mobile and would be extremely disappointed if you guys didn't updated the mobile port. Here's hoping for the best...
The Android version had its last update in 2021, will you update? because on some cell phones here it is already marked that it does not support it, but the cell phone has an 8 Gen 1 snapdragon processor. And that doesn't make sense, it's because the Android version is really old

New modes are interesting and all but I would love to add new sections to the castle to explore in regular game.
They have already done that! There's an 8bit world through a painting. The journey collaboration world as well!
There are three areas that aren't part of the castle that you can go to. One is rather short though. And I'm not talking about the boat.

Thank you for your hard work. I backed the game on Kickstarter and played through the PS4 version as soon as I could and got the platinum trophy. But then I didn't play it again. All those new modes, I have to try them out soon. Incredible how long you support the game and how much you have added.
I really hope, that when you are truly finished with the game and every DLC and Patch/Update has rolled out, that you will re-release the game physically, so we can have this fantastic game in it's complete form!
And by the way those two "Curse of the Moon"-Games are absolutely phenomenal. I hope there will be a third one!

What a terrible night to have a curse.
I'm kinda disappointed at the 2P mode, because it showcased 2 miriams playing together. I was expecting another character be the second player, like Johannes.
But I have to say that I'm surprised about the Dominique mode. I would definitely buy the dlc just for that, even more since I think that Castlevania II had the potential to be a good game, but many issues made it end up being awful.
i hope we can use zangetsu in 2P mode
