Dude that drop on road to nowhere looks like a 5 footer on video when in reality its 12 ft plus depending how far down the rock lander you go. Me and my buddy hit that trail. Mt creek really has amazing tech. Videos do it no justice.
nothing ever looks big on a GoPro :-(
The Gopro affect is real!! I rode BMW earlier this summer and watching your video made it look so much less steep than it really is!
I just rode it today and yea.
It's sketchy but fun huh?
Into the gnar. As always, awsome skills, awsome video, Jeff.
Wow you two are both such amazing riders...those trails are super gnarly and steep - I tried following Van Wort at Creek a couple of times ...barely survived,..but boy was it fun!
Dave is an amazing technical rider, he's always a great guide on this kinda stuff
That was some proper jank right there. I loved your comment about it being soooooo much better with clips. THAT may be true, cos you're a "trail boss" Jeff. Mear mortals like me need the reassurance that I can get my foot down in an instant. The other issue I find when under stress (riding these trails i would be), is be flustered/distracted as I try to clip in. The solution to that last point is I learn to track stand so I can give myself time to compose myself (working on that one....... with very slow progress). Loved the vid, thx
Fair point. Someone else commented that. When I ride these trails in flats I feel much safer but it’s way eaiser in clips since you’re connected. Definitely has more consequence though.
that last section was sweet. great nj trails. enjoyed it.
thanks for checking it out.
Excellent riding. Thanks for showing us the lines.
Fantastic riding!! Those trails are no joke, better have your A game on those. Tech riding in creek as to be among the best, Creek makes you tough.
You were rad on those rocks
Thanks Max
Those were some sick looking tech trails.
Jeff, come visit the Frederick Watershed , Frederick MD. You’d love it!!
Rocky terrain. Nice ridding
LOL that’s me at the end on my pink enduro 😃👍🏼
TRULY DOPE! I love technical rips hope one day my skills will be on par with some of those sketcher sections for me to rail through! Thx for the entertainment!
thank you for watching!
Very Nice trails
You'd love Beacon Hill in Spokane. Lots of rocks to play on.
Was just there for the esc, so sick...
It’s nice to see the trails at MCBP that I’ll never be on.
was this last weekend? going down this weekend and hoping to catch some of those leaves. I'm in upstate NY and the trees are pretty bare here
This was 2 weeks ago. There’s still a few leaves hanging on
I feel this video would of made a great sponsorship with any tire insert compagny. Great video, bit jealous my local trails are closed since last weekend. Keep up the good content !
I was running a Vittora Airliner in the rear!
I run Cush Core. That makes Bushwhack easy!!
Rock city!!
HI DVW! Only discovered Legion recently and yes, it's COOL!
what about me?? lol
Totally one of my favorites
Oh how i miss creek😥
People that don't ride at creek don't know what riding rocks really is 😅. You should hit Deceit and Stigmata in your next Creek rocks vid. I wanna try em but I've heard they're gnarly.
@@foamcow3490 technicality. lol
Looks great! But the shed will make you demand more from yourself!!
Wow - you made bmw look so easy ! It has kicked my ass many times.
Clipped in is great until you lose your balance and can't disengage! I always ride flats in NJ!
Seems harder than the megavalanche downhill racing. What’s ave speed, for sure you’ll get at the max speed.
My favorite tech trail was Deceit. The chill-ish but fun rock rolls were sweet. Especially doing the slab underneath the lift!
Deciet was fun!
Impressive...
Jeff just rode Templeton @ Sedona how you rode up that thing is beyond comprehension in my book. Definitely a Pro level attempt much less cleaning I’ll say it ranks close to climbing the Fruita HTB??
it's so different, Templeton is pretty rideable, Horsethief is basically a trials course. Overall I'd say Horsethief is about 500 times harder lol. If I'm in Sedona again I'll definitely try Templeton again, I definitely am fine with never attempting HTB again!
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss makes sense Jeff. Coming from a pro that’s is. Thanks so much for the reply!!!
Nice trails.
How do those Vittoria tyres hold up on those trails when it's wet?
AWESOME, the 4C rubber compound has great grip. You can use code Jefflenosky to save 20 percent and free shipping at Vittoria.com
Where is the place? Those trails look incredible. 👍👍👍
trail profiles are in the description
22 seconds in, I see the trail BMW, and I'm thinking, there are going to be sharp turns with no warning. Now to see if I'm right. :)
Ok, no hidden turns but sketchy lines, close enough.
@@JoshuaLTRyan hahahaha
3:40 did anyone else think it looked like he was just coasting straight up hill
Freaking weird! The first part looks like it's going uphill but you guys keep rolling without peddling:-)
Wow guys that looks great, but dangerous
thanks, it definitely is fun and definitely dangerous
10:36 is it a white duck? Lol
I'm going to say that Dave brake checked you a couple times, in a friendly way. 😜
I don't even see a trail
lol, that's why I need to follow someone!
which trails r these
I listed the trails in the vid description, scroll down
... non-stop rock garden... I can feel my teeth chattering

@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss hell yeah! That trail looks fun. I like rocky technical trails.
Why you keep calling for Jesus, does he MTB?
2:56 I think that statement is very misleading Jeff that Clips are better than Flats on technical trails. I think you need to put that into context for your viewers because you're going to get a lot of newbies and intermediate Riders who think that's a true statement when in fact it is not because it is mostly dependent on Rider skill and experience. You're a highly skilled Rider and most times your videos are entertaining All you pro guys really lose sight of the fact of what it was like to be a beginner or intermediate. it's one thing that really is a Common Thread among professional and super good experienced Riders. You're doing a huge disservice to a lot of other Riders by putting the idea out there that Clips are better than Flats. No I'm not making the argument that Clips are not better than Flats, it depends on the trail, depends on the experience and skill of the rider. Like I said your videos are very good but they're really aimed at more experienced and skilled mountain bikers. You should think about that before you make silly statements or put out content. 👍😎
Thanks for posting your opinion. I've been riding bike park on flats all summer and on high frequency smaller hits its REALLY hard to not have your feel migrate all over the pedals. I'm very proficient on flats but riding this stuff clipped in in 500 times easier. That fact isn't debatable, however it is much more dangerous. I think it's extremely important for riders to learn the fundamentals on flat pedals because it teaches you the proper techniques. I can only blabber so much while I'm riding down the trail, if I was making a how to video I would definitely clarify the pros and cons of both.
Uhhh what? Why is that statement misleading? I’m not a great rider, and still learn a ton each time a ride. In saying that, I own both flats and clips. I would categorize myself as a decent rider that plays things safe. If I ride something like Mtn Creek or Snowshoe, I will always wear clips. Perhaps it’s just me, but as I’m bouncing around down the jank such as this, I feel it’s better to be clipped in rather than having my feet bounce/move around on flats. I understand your point, but don’t feel there’s a need to call him out for that. He made an statement, and someone like myself completely aligns with that statement.
@@ChrisPoli Thanks! I see his point but i think he's confusing the feeling of safety because you aren't clipped in with the fact that it actually is easier when you are. I definitely have lots of friends that say flats are way sketchier too, it all depends on the rider.
@@JeffLenoskyTrailBoss Thanks for the response Jeff.
Yes, imo absolutely depends on the rider. I spent 15 years clipped in on the road. I'm with you on being clipped in it has its place and definitely has its advantages. First time on a crappy big box mountain bike (2008) I was clipped and for maybe a dozen rides after that, had many falls...🤦♂️😆 Then when I started to get more serious about riding a mountain bike on a regular basis in 2017, I decided to go flat. To my surprise with much more confidence and better results. So much so in fact that I switched to flats on my road bike and have had many PBs on climbs and descents. It is very much dependent on riding style, Rider skill/experience and of course the trail-track your riding. When you talk or commentate in the first person therein lies the rub 😆 because you're typically referring to yourself. My issue was that when you make General statements that being clipped in is better than being on Flats that's for you buddy. That applies specifically to you and a very small handful of riders with your highly-skilled ability. How long have you been riding a mountain bike? I've been at it for 3 years and I'm 55 years old now. I'm sure you started out as a young lad and have at least 20 if not 30 years experience. That's my point 👍 I think the majority of riders are at skill levels of intermediate and beginner. Anyway like I said I enjoy your videos and totally respect your skill and talent.

@@ChrisPoli why can't I call him out? 😄 he's a big boy he handled it well. When you're a professional in a public forum you have to expect to be called out now and then. It comes with the territory. 😉 I'm certainly entitled to my own opinion whatever you think of it, no? 🤷♂️
