I was surprised to learn that Bop is significantly larger than Pol. I usually visit both moons with the same craft due to their low delta V requirements. And Laythe is larger than Duna?!

damn gilly has really big gravity compared to pol apparently gilly's gravity is half that of pol and its 4 times smaller than pol so gilly is very dense
The entire Kerbol system is incredibly small, so it makes sense that the biggest planet would be smaller than Earth, however, it is neat that they are nearly the same size
So I was thinking id just send a probe flying into jool and aee if it survives! What do you guys think? I haven't explored Jool yet, so i was wondering if it acta like a real has planet!
what. the planets ingame are at a 0.1 scale to real planets and as far as im aware nothing points to jool actually being that big. and there is no kerbol system analog in real life found so whatever

Duna
I never new that Laythe was bigger than Duna
@@tedm123 Almost the size of Kerbin and Tylo.

Duna and Minmus

Interesting thing, Jool is actually 1:1 scale of the Earth.
Well no, it's not. Earth has a radius of 6371 kilometers, while Jool has a radius of only 6000. And Jool only has about 70.88% of Earth's mass.

I did not know Duna was that small compared to laythe
Its interesting to realize that Jool is pretty much the same size as earth
Fun fact: Jool is almost the same size as earth, only 756.2 km short according to this video.
in what area or radius?
@@mrquaversDiameter. The description of the video says that the measurements are in diameter, looking up the diameter of Earth you can see they are very close in size.
I’m fascinated by how round Bop isn’t, considering it’s larger than Minmus and Pol, both of which are yet more round
Bop likely corresponds to Proteus around Neptune, then.
Absolutely epic did you use blender to make this?
Yes
damn gilly has really big gravity compared to pol
apparently gilly's gravity is half that of pol and its 4 times smaller than pol so gilly is very dense
The gravity on Pol is actually about 7,6 times that of Gilly.
pol has a small soi so the other moons fit together, I think
@@Hubble_Planetballs i was talking about the gravitational force not the soi

Gilly isn't moon, is a big potato
Ooo a longer video? I’m interested

thank you for doing it in diameter and not stupid radius

This is great! It would be cool if there was another one but with OPM.
I always though that bop is same size like gilly
Fun fact: Earth is (radius wise) %5 bigger than Jool
we all needed this
It would be cool to do the outer planets mod scale
I love this video you better not delete this video
Wtf
Amazing!
where kerbol?
I hope in ksp2 we get real solar system as dlc
No
Please don't make that happen
its a mod so no
No
Never
I didn't even think Tylo was as big as Kerbin! lol
Also is this in radius or diameter?

Are you gonna make a version with the new ksp2 planets when it comes out?
i wonder how big kerbol is compared to jool?
