AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT THE CHURCH DID IN THE FIRST COUNCIL OF JERUSALEM and its written on ACTS 15:1 "Then certain individuals came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers, ‘Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved."
READ IT ALL, the Jews that converted to Christianity wanted everyone to OBEY the law of circumcision that God commanded in the OLD TESTAMENT, but the church decided that Circumcision was no longer required for the Christians. Peter and the church ruled that circumcision was no longer a requirement even thou scripture MANDATED IT, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A MANDATE FROM GOD HIMSELF!
From then on, Christians no longer get circumcised BECAUSE THE CHURCH SAID SO and the church has the POWER TO BIND AND LOOSE ON EARTH!

SUCH BS!! There was no established church with established traditions when Saul had his divine intervention on the road to Damascus, during which he was reborn as Paul. The apostles, along with James were still gathering those that had believed and more. The "traditions" of the Catholic and some non-catholic sects came centuries later, establishing centralized power , a hierarchy of bishops and priests and requiring sacrifices and works in order to gain justification and salvation, completely against what Jesus taught. The "church" spoken of in the NT is the body of believers, not a building, nor the Catholic Church. Catholics are papists, bowing to a pope, subservient to priests, praying to everyone but God and Jesus (who are one).

Are you a protestant? Why should I become catholic? Thanks for the advice, I already know that Catholicism is 100% true Christianity (let me be clear about this, when I say 100% true Christianity, I do not mean that what they teach is 100% true! All it means is that their religion is 100% the Church of Jesus! )
My job here is to debunk the protestant religions because they are fake Christianity. The protestants are the most militant and because they keep spreading their false doctrines all over the world! I am a scientist, and I like facts, either scientific or historical facts.
Whenever I see a protestant spreading false doctrines about the Christian historical religion, that makes me mad to be honest, but mad in an intellectual sense because these liars are spreading false information about Christianity!
Why don't they just create their own religion instead of taking the religion of someone else and distorting it and spreading so many sects with so many different teachings?
