- Today's vlog is a few days in our life and I feel it is quite a 'raw vlog!' I hope that's okay. It has been a crazy weekend (with very little editing time!) but I kind of like it and think it really shows what some of my days look like. Jackson is getting so big now and trying to walk all of the time!!

Q: Where is your accent from?
A: I was born and raised to Toronto, Ontario, Canada but moved to Essex in England when I was 14 years old. Hence my mixed up accent.
Q: Do you work? What do you work as?
A: I work in Marketing and PR but I am currently on maternity leave. I am focusing on my vlog while I am on maternity leave and I love it!
Q: Who’s in your family?
A: I have been married to Matt for 7 years, he is the love of my life! We have three sons - Fraser is 6, Caleb is 3 and baby Jackson who was born in September 2016!
Q: What camera do you use to film?
A: I film my videos with the Canon G7X and Olympus Pen EPL7.
Q: What lighting do you use?
A: I use natural lighting 90% of the time and a softbox light during the winter / dark evenings.
Q: Where do you get music from?
A: Epidemic Sound, Soundcloud and the RUclips Library.
I love the fact that you are showing your raw footage of days or times where you just feel blah we all have those days or moments and to see the not so glorious side is wonderful makes it just that little bit more personal. Loving what you do xxxx

Hi Emily, don't feel disheartened by him not wanting to do football, my brother was the same. He loved football but the pressure of being in a team he hated, it was a battle every Saturday to get him there. We decided to take a couple of years out and now he's come out of his bubble (13 yrs old) and he has grown in confidence much more! His team is his biggest passion now. Just be patient and confidence will come in time. Xxxx

My son was the same at Frasers age, we did footy, karate etc they fizzled out. My advice would be stop it now if hes not enjoying as he will probably love it again when hes older and try again xx

There are so many years ahead for them to get into clubs and whatever interests them. Don't rush, they don't have to always be doing things so early on as long as they are happy that's all that matters

Emily you are such a lovely mummy. I am a stay at home mum to 2 little ones and have found it hard to adjust to having 2. In saying that I absolutely love it and wouldn't change a thing! Especially watching them together. I love watching your vlogs while I feed my baby to sleep. You are so gentle and calm and your kids are a credit to you. Just wanted to send you love all the way from Australia!! P.s don't worry about Fraser and not being so keen on activities yet. Hi Emily! I would say my best advice is to not push too hard on one thing, which it sounds like you're not and good for you for waiting patiently while he finds something he loves! Something beneficial that I always remember my mom doing was making me finish whatever "season" I had signed up for and if I still didn't like it at the end, then I didn't have to continue. Also I just wanted to say that watching your vlogs as a new mom just makes me want to do better and be more patient every day in my mom life! You are an inspiration :) Keep it up, you are making a difference! In your family's lives and in your viewers lives
It's so funny you said you were feeling parenting was getting on top of you that day. I was watching the bit when you are out for lunch thinking "she has it so together, I could never be that calm when we are all out eating, especially just me and the kids". Just shows how everyone feels it at different times. On another note, I hated all organised activity as a child. Quit everything, but I've turned out ok! So don't worry about Fraser!

The kids are so cute---Jackson 'talking' and Fraser in his science day outfit. Jackson is growing so fast. This is what I told my children when they signed up for sports---that they are making a commitment to their team and their coach...and they should stick it out for the whole five week period. They seemed ok with that. If they had strongly objected I would have obviously taken them out. Love the videos with the kiddos.

love these kind of vlogs!! Jackson is soooo cute!!!! love the little noises and chatty chat they start to make so cute. my 8 year old doesn't want to do any clubs at school I always ask him but always says 'no thank you' so he did swimming outside of schook which I really want all my kids to learn and when he got to the stage where he could swim we asked him is there any club you want to do and want to learn and was like kick boxing! so he's been doing that for over year now and loves it!

We have signed up to loads of clubs over the years with my daughter. I just found that she wasn't enjoying them and it was becoming a stressful event every weekend to convince her to go. She now plays cello, which is great as we are not tied down to a set time slot every week. I wouldn't worry too much, you will find the boys will probably dip in and out of hobbies for many years to come. Love your blogs btw!

My parents always taught me that if you sign up for something like a team you need to follow through and go. It teaches children to have commitment to something which a lot of people don't have now. It's important that if you say you're going to be a part of a team then you go, I'd force him to go whether or not he enjoyed himself until the season is over. It's not okay when you're an adult to quit and you don't want Fraser to grow up quitting activities that he signs up for just because it isn't what he expected.

Frazer the mad scientist,wow he looked great. Frazer may just want too chill out with you and the boys on a Saturday after a week at school. Most children are like that,the thought of it at the time is brilliant then before you know it they are fed up with that. Caleb painting his arm,you are so chilled when you catch him doing these things 😂😂. Where has baby Jackson gone. When he was stood up at the cupboard looking very pleased with himself. Lovely video Emily. I am a mum of 4, each child is so different and it's great how you are persevering to find a special activity for Frazer.
As he gets older he will find his passion and beg you start taking him 😄
He's still very young and has plenty of time yet to find things he really enjoys. Think at his age it's just a case of trying different things isn't it and if he likes it great, if not no worries. My daughter (9) is a little the same, she just does brownies at the moment which she loves but at one point we were doing gymnastics and swimming as well both of which she was desperate to do but then started not wanting to go. I decided she just needed a bit of time out from clubs as she just seems to need that down time after school. My son tried a few different sports at Frasers age but music was his thing and still is. He's 17 now and plays piano and guitar everyday, he uses it as a way to de stress after exam pressure ect and I'm so pleased we gave him the opportunity to learn both instruments. Apologies for the long reply, I'm guess I'm saying don't worry too much, it will sort itself out. Love your vlogs btw xx

Lovely video. My little boy refused to join in a lot of classes I've taken him too (he's just 3) and I used to get really frustrated by it. I think as long as they are happy we should try and follow their lead a bit more rather than what they SHOULD be doing. There is a lot of comparison on social media etc so it can be hard but it's all part of parenting learning and doing what's best for your family!

Just finished watching the whole video and I can so relate to what your going thro with Fraser, my son Owen was the same. We tried football, cubs, kickboxing, swimming etc but he just didn't stick to anything and ended up not wanting to go. I didn't force him to do something he didn't want to. He's now 15 and he volunteers at the Junior Youth club every week, he started playing the guitar off his own back( and is so good now) and the wknd he goes to his dad's he has 2 wee jobs on thr farm for pocket money. They will eventually find there thing don't worry. Xxxx

Sounds like it's a common theme, reading through the comments. my eldest has ballet at 9am on Saturday mornings and its such a struggle and effort to get her ready to go. You wouldn't believe the dramas, considering this is a treat and she's lucky to have them. But then once she's there she loves it and tells you after how much she loves it. Next Saturday rolls on and repeat :/ I think it's just because they're tired, I'm hoping she'll grow out of it x

I absolutely loved this vlog :) I've just realized that Fraser looks so much like your mom, Caleb is a spitting image of Matt and Jackson looks so much like you! You have such a lovely family and I love how real you are while remaining positive. About Fraser, it's okay if he's not too keen on any particular sport. He appears to enjoy academics more which is great! Perhaps later on he might take interest in sports or martial arts. You and Matt are doing a great job with your sweet boys

Don't worry about Fraser-He is still little-we as parents think we have to do all these things-but let them be carefree as long as they want. He will grow up soon enough!
My boy is the same he is nearly 11. He has tried football, swimming and Tae kwon do. He has stopped them all. He is really artistic. always sketching. He loves Drama and has a new love for horse riding he loves animals. I was worried when he was younger but they find their interests. My daughter who is nearly 9 is the total opposite she loves sports. Love your Vlogs ❤❤

When I was younger I was a lot like Fraser. My mum enrolled me in ballet, music, sports, everything. But for every class I did I eventually quit because it got to a point when I didn't want to do it any more. Now that I'm older I kind of wish my mum had been a little bit more stern with me and made me keep it up because now I really wish I had kept with it.

Love love love this style of vlogs! My 2 older girls do about 3million clubs and they genuinely enjoy every one of them but it took a couple of different things to find what they liked and it would happen to be completely different clubs! 3 different places all at the same time!! Just enjoy the fact that you have some free time at the moment because when he finds that one thing you will be cursing him! 😂

You've got it down if Fraser isn't enjoying a club or activity asking him if he wants to move on to something else is the perfect thing to do. It's important for kids to do a range of things but it's important for them to know you listen to them too.

Aw Emily i so wish i could be abit more like you, your so chilled oh he's just painting his arm just so calm and casual I'd be like omg child what are you doing 😂 such a beautiful family. My little girl is 8 she does dance, fitness, colouring in club, brownies and did boxing and she goes through phases where she can't be bothered to go or wants to give up can be frustrating guess they so busy at school they just want to chill out a little and i think she thinks she's missing out if she's at a club that I'm doing something really cool with her sister which half the time I'm not x

I've done rock climbing for ages which is really fun but pricey and trampolining is a huge hit the as well as gymnastics which you prob have already tried but maybe it's worth trying different clubs iyswim like if he didn't like one football team maybe joining another work if they do maybe more interesting stuff or if he makes friends
