You know, the only real complaint I can think of is that it literally sounds too “good”. It’s more of an Undyne song than it is a Junkil song, it sounds like he’s actually the hero instead of just a pretender using the determination for evil. Could work well enough as a weird route cover though.

I get that if the undertale version swaps MTT with undyne, but most of the time even when a swap clearly swaps undyne and alphys or different swaps involving undyne and MTT, people instinctively say the secret Boss taking place of spamton should have an undying form.
the reason it’s a popular choice is probably because undying and neo parallel each other in that they’re both alternate forms of characters that appear only in the genocide route

I like that this incorporates Jevils motifs more, and the mixing is an improvement over the original, but it still feels like the BaaTH and the Don't Forget melodies kind of grate against each other. Not your fault, but a fault of the original composition I suppose. The morse code at 1:36 is thematically great, but does kind of intrude on the main melody. Despite those two nitpicks this is a truly great cover, you're obviously talented. Good job.

Ok I love everything EXCEPT the morse code, adding that during the middle of the song for such a long period of time genuinely gives me a headache. Also because of that I can never enjoy the section it plays over.
I’m very mixed on this song. While it’s really good in its own right, I really just hear it as a downgrade to the original. The beginning melody being changed was really the worst part it was my favorite, but it’s deliberately worse here. I think you handled some things better such as the ending part, but the beginning still stings. Overall a great song on its own, but a significant downgrade to the original

Ok I love everything EXCEPT the morse code, adding that during the middle of the song for such a long period of time genuinely gives me a headache. Also because of that I can never enjoy the section it plays over.

I’m very mixed on this song. While it’s really good in its own right, I really just hear it as a downgrade to the original. The beginning melody being changed was really the worst part it was my favorite, but it’s deliberately worse here. I think you handled some things better such as the ending part, but the beginning still stings.
Overall a great song on its own, but a significant downgrade to the original
