Hey everybody! I just wanted to give a massive thank you for all the support I’ve gotten from my performances this GBB. Execution wise it was not up to the standard I would have hoped, but I took a lot of risks this year and I don’t regret any of them. If you want to hear any of the official releases of these songs in their fully realized versions, they will be up by the time this video is public 😁 I also don’t regret getting 3rd place this year; I’m very happy with the way things panned out in the end. This GBB was such a memorable one not because of wins or losses, but because of people like my opponent here, AVH! Such a chill person and incredible artist that I loved getting to spend downtime and lovely conversations with in Tokyo! I was able to spend a lot more time with the community side of the event than the battle side, and it made a very enjoyable experience for me 🥰 As for the future, I’ll still be putting out music, but loopstation battles are going in a direction that I need time to really sit with and see if it’s something I want to pursue. I love performing live and I’ll never stop doing things like showcases, but in my battle career I’m more than satisfied with my status at the moment! Some how both Incinerate and Au Revoir have more power on the live versions than in Spotify, if you would put out the live versions on Spotify with cleaner vocals I think it would be amazing. I think is the energy you used on the lives that make them more exciting. Thank you for your music!

Bizkit versatility is amazing, every round is so different from the other. Regarding AVH, I have no words, the guy makes the songs I love to listen to, it must be the songs that most feel like non looping music!
I disagree. I feel like his lack of versatility is why I can't get into Bizkit. He's the one looper who makes me think "all his stuff is the same". To me he's the King Inertia of looping - hes awesome, but hes a one trick pony.

It's amazing how Bizkit finally dropped the "Incinerator". This is probably the most insane MK1 track. I think Bizkit mastered MK1 and could finally go to the MK2.
It's intended to sound distorted. That's his personal preference. But yeah, he has mixing issues 'cause it's MK1. If he finally decides to grab the MK2 and use it for battles, we're about to get some insane tracks.

Both loopers give their best shots in this battle... Big applause for them... AVH's style was so clean and melodic like you're just chillin in the bar or club with 122 BPM beat. I like that vibe... BizKitz's sounds were so cracking in the crowd especially on the 2nd round where he drops that insane HEADBANGING / 150 BPM / RIDDIM track. That was so amazing... One of the biggest moments.... A huge congratulations to BizKit....
Killer routine from BizKit in round 2. There were 7 different hard hitting drops in one round - he is so efficient with his build-ups and time management. I really want to hear more drops like the one done at 11:07 - sometimes simpler is better. This beat is simple but so hard-hitting. Compare this to the beat at 4:32 - too much going on here. AVH was pleasant, consistent, and solid once again. It'll be game over if BizKit uses a MKII with strong mixing - his raw talent is unreal.
Well the drop at 4:32 and the rest wasn't supposed to sound so distorted and messy I listened to this track before gbb and it wasn't supposed to come out that way Bizkit sadly messed up here its a shame because otherwise its a great track

I remember BizKit's 2nd routine from when he was livestreaming and fiddling. Glad to see it reached GBB, it was one of my favorites in terms of his drops.
Dude, the unfinished version in his livestream was even more madness. But he did great to set it up this way for the battles. It could've been an elimination round since the unfinished version had even more variety.

This should have been the final in my opinion, bizkit should have won this years gbb again, he was the best. It would have been so epic and truly historic to see someone winning gbb 2 times for the first time and nonetheless 2 times in a row which would have been completely deserved! Keep on at it bizkit
I feel like AVH has the most solid base of all the performers I've seen. Solid house style, vocals are mostly in key, and he has good layering. I think he's missing that punch that would put him over the top. House has gentle drops. He could spice it up with a style transition. Also, if he ran the loop back once more with a final added layer, instead of ending tracks early, that would resolve the tension he builds throughout the tracks. Also, I'm just a dude on the internet with no looping skill, so I don't really know what I'm talking about.
I love this battle, both with very different styles, although in my opinion Bizkit's first round is extremely problematic, the second round is the peak of what MK1 can offer, incredible... I really like AVH's rounds, it was a huge surprise for me this year, always very clean, it's a shame he didn't plan very well for the semis, apparently he didn't imagine he would get this far, but I'm sure he'll be able to win some world championships in the coming years.

I understand what you're saying, but it's not black/white, and there's a significant proportion of people who wouldn't share your instance. Your example also seems inconsistent- it's an example of a battle, which you've actually made AVH a character in. Keeping with MMA examples, it's more like a striker vs. a wrestler- one is considered less exciting/less fighting- but they're still battling, just different.
That last one from BizKit's second round 12:26 feels so effortlessly hardcore, hits me so different like the final nail in the coffin and the sub base at the end makes me so badly wish I was there live to experience that rumble.

Even tho 2nd bizkits round was insanly sick I have to say his 1st round was even better for me. His first round is super hard to pull of live especially with his sound design, but for me it sounded amazing, I played the round over 10 times during the livestream. Also big up to avh! Mega clean as always, I would go to a 1hr avh rave instantly!

Man… What is there to say? Both battles were incredible. AVH all rounds were well composed and executed perfectly in all of the battles in GBB. I find it so hard that he executed an EDM production so perfect using the MK1. He remind me so much of Avicii. On the other hand, what BizKit was able to exceed different categories based on his opponent styles. But on his second round, he absolutely killed it and possibly his best round ever! Kudos to both competitors and it was a good battle I absolutely love. Like everybody else said, AVH isn’t bad. His rounds aren’t meant to for battle, I would love to see a looper to draw a crowd at Tomorrowland. I personally would attend and listen to his music. He is well composed and admirable!
AVH absolutely love all your rounds. If I may, I would recommend you add some intentional harder drops that will really surprise everyone to get the wow moments amongst the crafted front to end flow. It would step it up a level because these are battles after all.
Respect the man. Creativity is what we looking for. People have their opinion, don't force other to follow ur way if they don't want. Bizkit has good structure in my opinion, some will say no, but that what this world is all about: Each person have different mindset. For me, Biz is good, but he need to reduce the amout of distortion, that all.

Bizkit is a Legend he doesn't need to proof Nothing, he won be GBB before for a good reason! AVH is not battle looper but he deserves respect for his smoothness and flow like no one of others have! I can see him at tomorrow land looping 2hr set easy!!!

Even tho 2nd bizkits round was insanly sick I have to say his 1st round was even better for me. His first round is super hard to pull of live especially with his sound design, but for me it sounded amazing, I played the round over 10 times during the livestream. Also big up to avh! Mega clean as always, I would go to a 1hr avh rave instantly!
Interesting opinion XD Bizkit himself said that it wasn't supposed to sound this distorted and messy live.

Man… What is there to say? Both battles were incredible. AVH all rounds were well composed and executed perfectly in all of the battles in GBB. I find it so hard that he executed an EDM production so perfect using the MK1. He remind me so much of Avicii. On the other hand, what BizKit was able to exceed different categories based on his opponent styles. But on his second round, he absolutely killed it and possibly his best round ever! Kudos to both competitors and it was a good battle I absolutely love. Like everybody else said, AVH isn’t bad. His rounds aren’t meant to for battle, I would love to see a looper to draw a crowd at Tomorrowland. I personally would attend and listen to his music. He is well composed and admirable!

AVH absolutely love all your rounds. If I may, I would recommend you add some intentional harder drops that will really surprise everyone to get the wow moments amongst the crafted front to end flow. It would step it up a level because these are battles after all.
