- Interesting, I did wonder (IF) one could install the ELEMENT IFS KIT, without much hassle, and now I know !!! I have a KIT SCX10 II, just sittin' around, waitin' for a whole "new" set-up, I might just do that !! 🤔.... - Good Stuff !! - Thank you 👍 😀
From what I remember, this should slide into the axial chassis rails. The only issue I ran into was with the long piece that glows from under the front IFS diff to the skid. I remember having to trim something.
Jeremy clarkson say solid axles belong on horse carriages. He isn't totally wrong. Cornering is typically better with IFS. I like the durability and articulation with solid axles. But my favorite off-road trucks typically has IFS in the front and solid rear axles. Trophy trucks is the best of both worlds.
Nice. I installed the IFS kit on SCX10 II as well. It's definitely a different crawling experience.
I installed the IFS on my 10.2 yesterday
Great video bro. You killing it. Truck looks great.

Go for it! I am just glad my video was able to help your decision.
I would love to know if you could ever do an ifs rear end on it as well

nice vid! 👍
What's your wheel and tire? That'll look good for my 1:1 replica build
Those are RC4WD stamped steel wheels. The tires are Proline Racing BF Goodrich KM3s.
@@GaRockZombies you're awesome dude thanks!! Killer truck!!
@@krewkab5451 no problem! Good luck with the 1:1 build.
Do you have the link for the parts?
The IFS Conversion kit has been discontinued by Element RC. You would have to look on eBay to find one now. The Element part number is 40103.
@@GaRockZombies ik they make a new ifs2 kit you think it'll work the same?
What is the wheelbase?
313mm probably
IFS seems like a step backwards.
This build will be more on the scale side rather than all our performance.
