    I have the same stove and it is a workhorse. I was surprised to see the brown ( whatever you call it ) rock. Your campsite is awesome and I love the fact that your living space is very simple but welcoming.

    I just found your channel so I don’t know your background or experience level. But when I’m off-road I always reduce my tire pressure for additional traction and reduce risk of puncture. My rigs I do down from 35 to 20 or even 15psi depending on the terrain. Google it maybe for your van. Really nice video. Owyhee is pronounced like Hawaii. Early people misspelled it.

    I'm sorry Daniel. As an lifelong Oregonian, I need to correct you, for any possible future travels here. Having traveled back and forth accross the US multiple times, I know and understand it can be confusing, or easy to mix areas, cities, and towns up. So, fyi, Bend Oregon is located in Central Oregon!!, (other Cities and Towns of Central Oregon, are La Pine, Prineville, Madras, Redmond, and Sisters, naming a FEW others in Central Oregon). NOT Eastern Oregon!!😉 (Cities and Towns in Eastern Oregon, are Portland, La Grande, Baker City, Pendleton, and Salem - Oregons State Capital - to name a FEW!) Regardless of the confusion, I am glad that you chose to drive/travel to Oregon. It is a beautiful State. I wish you safe, fun and enjoyable travels!!
    IF!! you do choose to travel to Eastern Oregon, I strongly encourage/recommend you to check out The Eagle Caps, of the Eagle Caps mountain range. AND, if you travel further East in Oregon, please consider going to Wallowa Lake, (once considered the deepest lake in Oregon) in the Wallowa mountains. And if you've ever heard of Crater Lake, it is a must see if possible. It is the main feature of Crater Lake National Park. If possible. But its located in South Central Oregon, up near Klammath Falls.
    Whatever, or wherever you travel. Take care, enjoy, and be safe! 😊

      Hello! thanks for taking the time to educate me a bit. I appreciate it. Oregon is a beautiful state and I've been snowboarding at 2 of the ski resorts on/near Mt. Hood as well as driving all the way up the 5 to get to Washington. Thanks for the recommendations too! I'm always looking for new places to visit/photograph.

    • @danielsbegg
      @danielsbegg  Год назад +1

      this video was filmed June 11th-12th and I just now filled my tire back up today lol. I assume the only reason for such high PSI is when carrying very heavy loads in the van. So yeah... probably not necessary

      @@danielsbegg Usually the auto manufacturers recommended tire pressure is on a plaque/sticker in the drivers door jam.

      Sometimes if you are around something often, it's easy to lose appreciation for how special it is. I'm guilty of this myself. I'm from the SoCal desert and often used to complain about living there but now I often miss it because it really is beautiful. There's pros and cons to everything but just gotta try to focus on the good in life. Glad I got to explore a little bit of Oregon and I hope to be back soon!
