      Hello Mr. Smirnov, I'm about 1150 rapid rating, an improving player. But during a few of my games I discovered a novelty, a black Evans Gambit. And it really works. I haven't lost with it yet

    I tried it. The opponent won with an accuracy of 94, 99.9% in the opening. It's not tricky at all.

    Igor, can you make a video about the kiddie counter gambit? It's one of my favourite ways to beat the early wayword queen attack

    12:10 Even tho it's just in front of my eyes, I was not thinking of a pawn checkmate lol, that's ridiculous & crazy at the same time!

    Love this. I know the pickler gambit but haven't played it yet. But so many ways to go wrong as you pointed out.

    The theory behind this variation of the Italian game mirrors the theory behind the *EVANS GAMBIT*
    eg 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Bc5 4.b4 Bxb4 5.c3 Bc5 (or Be7) 6.d4

    Because of this Opening, I can differentiate those who play with "Stockfish" easily. Surprisingly, there are more than 30% who plays d5!!!

    • @wishkahzyricks
      @wishkahzyricks 14 дней назад

      I don't think this is a reliable way to tell. I watch Igor's videos while checking his suggestions with Stockfish myself and taking notes. This way I learn both the tricks Igor suggests and their refutations by Stockfish. If I study and remember these lines by heart later, this doesn't make me a cheater.
      Also I liked it when Igor used to support his suggestions more with the stats on how often this or that is played in real life.

      @@wishkahzyricks true. You're statement based on my experience => among those 30% I reported, 22% of them (6%) were banned!
