Daikin AC unit stuck in the silent mode

Daikin is able to remotely disable or enable features in your AC unit. This video illustrates a feature called "Outdoor Silent" being enabled permanently. Even resetting the unit does not have an effect to it. According to manual the feature should be toggled off via the remote, but actually the application reveals it's not.
The feature appears to have been enabled permanently in response to several complaints about the device's noise level not matching the specifications.
