Man… Groups like ya’ll and New Jazz Underground are paving the way for the next generation. I constantly go to channels like this as source material to be taught to my own jazz combo. So many lessons can be learned by listening to how carefully you all play with one another. Thank you for these awesome performances 👍.

this kind of a combo is very impressive for the lead soloist regardless of what instrument they play. to engage your audience and say something during an improv solo despite having any chord comping is very difficult
