I had the DD soldier bag for years, it was my first "real" bag and is almost identical to this one. I recently discovered your channel because im looking to upgrade to a full size bag and im really stumped on what i should spend my money on. Thank you for all the in depth reviews Doth! You've got a new subscriber 👍
Idk if you'll see this Doth but if you do... Ive been watching your reviews and learning a lot about these bags. Im looking to upgrade from a mid-size bag (DD soldier) to something bigger. I like being able to carry a 6 pack for a buddy and I to split on casual rounds but I'm now in need of more disc space. You have really informative good and bad to say about every bag and it's extremely informative. If you HAD to choose between a DD combat ranger or prodigy BP1 v3 which do you prefer/would be able to carry 18-20 discs + a few beverages. I'm torn between those two or maybe holding out and saving for a pound...
Doth I’ve just found you’re channel and I gotta say one of the best disc golf channels out there, do you ever play rounds on camera? I would love to see you play some rounds
Yo man. New to your vids and I am enjoying them. I am a fan of the DD soldier bag. It is similar to this one, but I can’t get past the elastic band on the putter pocket. Any idea where I can find the old soldier bag that has the front putter pocket?
What are the best bags at different price points in your opinion? It would be helpful if you could name a couple per category since here in Finland the options are somewhat limited. Let's say under 100€, 150€, 200€ and 300€ (or USD). And what are the pros and cons to those bags? A video about this subject would be awesome but obviously a written answer works as well!
Thanks Kalle, I will have to think on that a bit, but it is an excellent idea. Maybe a year end video for all bags I have reviewed and what my favorites are. Thank you for the request.
Seems like the most versatile bag for the price, a v2 would be awesome to fix a few of the issues. What do you think about the dynamic discs paratrooper?
This style of bag has been made by lots of different brands with slight variations. I had an old innova bag for a long time that was just a bit bigger than this.

Love the old school vibe. Perfect for my casual game.

Can't say I have seen one of those for sale recently. I will keep an eye out
Hi Doth,
What do you think of the throwback sack 2.0?
I've not tried any of the Throwback brand bags

Can you fit that yeti ice block in the middle compartment of the ridge backpack along with 6 12oz cans?
yea I don't see why not. its not insulated well though

I have not tried the Paratrooper yet. Poorboy disc golf channel has a review on it, and The Disc Golf Nerd is currently testing one.
Not enough pencil holders.
But neat product for many more applications than Discgolf
if there's one thing I've learned from Doth: there can never be enough pencil holders
This looks 99.9% identical to my ancient Innova bag. The only difference is that they include a cooler insert.
FYI: here's the Innova Competition which is the bag I have: www.innovadiscs.com/disc-golf-bags/competition/
