I’m so sad I couldn’t get the first mini Keyaki. It was a matter of priorities for me as I was still starting my collection and I could no buy them all at once. When I finally could, it was no longer available.😢 I travel so much and I really wanted to have a complete travel kit to go. Maybe one day Sónia will add them or some alternatives. Great review Tor.
I know how you feel! When it was first released, I couldn’t purchase it because it was beyond the purchase cap set by Beautylish for customers from the Philippines. It would have been a great set to have! But that’s okay, we get the things we need in the right time. 😘
Review was so good. This was definitely the best Sonia G Mini Buffer/Niji review. Loved the comparisons and demo. Your foundation was looking flawless and luminous with the buffer. Convinced me that I need it, lol ❤️.
Such a good and thorough review! Really like seeing your technique. I enjoy how you explain things with your calm demeanor :-) I have Face One and it is a majestic brush, but the handle is so big and clunky it's hard to bring it with me and even fit in my makeup bag. I also find the brush head *very* flat. It seems like the Keyaki buffer is perhaps the tiniest bit more domed, which I think is preferable personally. I think I'm gonna have to get them both. I don't have Niji pro or Jumbo bronzer and I love a big brush that you can bounce on the face, haha!
I think the size of the handles on the Face One and Buffer Pro was the main reason why Sonia decided to make this part of the Mini Keyaki series. I think there have been a few requests for smaller handles. The Mini Keyaki Niji is a good brush - a tad shorter in bristle length than the Jumbo Bronzer. Both can apply bronzer nicely, albiet the Mini Keyaki Niji at a smaller real estate on the face. But yes, these brushes feel amazing on the face! 🤗
HI, I have just found your videos and love watching you describing everything in such a perfect way. Unfortunately I am one of those people who have textured skin and it's just getting worse with age. I try to wear double wear to cover everything, but I'm not sure how to do it properly, would you do a full review on how to do makeup on textured skin like myself with the right type of brushes for dry, red, scarred skin. I looove your skin so you might need to pretend you have skin like myself lol 😃🤣🤣
5:48 me all day long every time I receive my Sonia G’s brushes 😂❤ Ps: I always come back to your channel for in depth reviews on brushes ~ love how passionate and soft spoken you are 🩵 it’s a real pleasure to watch you ! ❀ 𝒯𝒽𝒶𝓃𝓀 𝓎𝑜𝓊 ❀
Im super curious to see how the 2 Niji brushes compare to the new Bysiodo brush that is in a similar shape in their long series (the one thats a blend of fox & goat... even though its labeled as a "finishing brush"
I just checked out the Bisyodo B-F-05 at fudebeauty.com. As per the description, this brush is longer than the Sonia G Niji. And i find that longer bristles tend to splay out more on the face. Which is quite good for a finishing brush. Since the bristles on the Niji Pro are Shorter (by 3mm), it gives it some power to work with difficult formulas . Although, I’m sure the Bisyodo B-F-05 will also work, it’s just a different experience because of the Fox hair mix. I think it will be more “springy” in nature. 😉 Are you getting it?
AMAZING demo of these brushes!! i have drier skin so rarely powder but based on your description it sounds like i could still get a semi-radiant effect on the skin using the mini buffer? is the mini niji best for bronzing? x
Eeee I came on here to figure out if I wanted the Keyaki Niji as my first Sonia G brush but now I want that and the Keyaki Buffer 😂 would you say these are must haves after using them for a bit more time?
Hello! Both brushes are actually amazing. 😉 But, you should get a brush that will work for your makeup style, routine and collection. If it would boil down to easentials, the Buffer would be great because it can be used for setting powder, finishing powders, or blush. The Niji although primarily designed for bronzer application, can also be used in multiple ways. Just get the Niji as that was the brush that called out to you. Then get the Buffer in the future. 😘
Either of them is a good, it all comes down to the length of that handle that you want to have in your possession. There is only a $5 difference between the price of the Buffer Pro ($80) and Mini Keyaki Buffer ($75).

Aw thanks! I highly recommend Sonia’s Buffer - may it be the Buffer Pro or the Mini Keyaki Buffer. It’s a very good brush.
Best demo of mini keyaki buffer 🙏

You can get that effect with the Mini Buffer. I enjoy this brush a lot. The Mini Niji is an all around brush to me, usually use it for brontour.
@@tortorre ty! i ended up getting the mini niji but may still pick up the mini buffer later. i love these brushes and how they feel on the face. 🤪

Very nice review. I'm just curious if I need to choose between the buffer pro and the mini keyaki buffer, which do you recommend? Thank you

@tortorre thank you so much 😊. BTW, I also liked your review and demo of the sonia g sheer buffer. It convinced me to buy one 😊
@@jhoheart74 thank you! Now that Sheer Buffer is a really good brush!! Great all around brush that one! 😘
