Nice ride, i own a CL9 Executive, any k24A2 and K24A3 out there should have a 421 header with test pipe and ECU reflash, it transforms the car.
And for a naturally aspirated engine it is truly amazing to be able to gain 45hp in the middle rpm range
This car sounds so much fun.

Well you're right. There won't be another accord like this one. And only this one is enough to get the pick over the b16/b20 vtecs, with its type r head swap and special lsd gearbox. And bare in mind this has enough displacement to beat any 2 liter out there mod for mod. Besides the fact that it's k series. This car needs to be identified as a quick car only then I say will the Ek start to phase out. Nice to see a quick accord!

Its a pity South Africa never recieved the Honda accord euro r CL1 (H22A) and CL7 (K20A). All models came standard with LSD transmissions.

I got hijacked in my K24z3 accord, thinking about getting the old shape when insurance eventually pays out, it's gonna be a bit lighter, have longer legs on the gears, and respond better to mods, my k24z3 was stock, but still not bad for a heavy car with only 150kw, guess the gearing was good.

The Titanic that will sink almost all 4 Cylinder cars at Killarney in normal trim. Well done Darrol. I want to see if Clown Performance can help me with a stack and induction on my VVL. 170kw VVL with mentioned mods most definitely possible 😏 if you watch this space...
LOL frank one day you will drive a honda :-) but we can can setup a PVC induction for the VV :-) just need to get the angles worked out.
@@darrolarendse12 No doubt for the price and i'll consider an Accord. Its cheaper than most FN2's with the mods mentioned and a 13sec car. Niyaaz couldn't drive it though 🙄

The easier swap will be the EG you have additional things to change on the EK to make it work and ground clearance also becomes an issue for the SUMP.

Hi sorry i didn't give all the specs of the motor but yes rsp head was on there and it made 213 kw

It did 14.2 which is as faster than most bolt on tuned accords

Its not standard on the cl9 but it comes standard on the cl7 accord (euro R). There is a few around in SA, sadly we didn't get it here.
