    What a sleek beauty.
    I think there may have been a HotWheels version of the Charger III at some point in the late 60s or early 70s.
    Some design elements were changed and Mattel renamed it Torero...

    It's side profile is definitely ahead of it's time, that canopy would never work in a production car though (i.e Lincoln L100).

    The blueprint for the Ferrari 512 S. Pininfarina Prototype from 1969. The best of all sleek canopy experimental cars. Where is it today?

    I agree the Viper is the closest thing to a "Charger IV', ie. successor to the Charger III. It's too bad they sucked up to Ford heritage instead. I thought they were being diabolical and trying to get a piece of the pie from AC Cobra collector car buyers. However the story I heard is, Chrysler employees were riding around in a Cobra and said a new car should be made with a similar vibe.
