I have 4 Wonderboom 2's. It's so durable, solid sound outdoors, and very waterproof. When I'm playing it at the pool, I'll pretend I hate a song, and launch my Wonderboom into the pool, to the dismay of my guests. When I take it out and its still playing, the look on their faces is priceless. Lol. It's also such a perfect size for travel!
Finally pulled the trigger on 2 SoundLink Flex in Carmine Red. The new color and reduced price, and my positive experience with a SoundLink Micro, I'm looking forward to trying them out.
JBL would be my pick too with that phone charging option. I bought a UE Boom 2 years ago based off recommendation and haven't needed to buy anything else since. Interesting seeing the technology changing so quickly and am excited to see what I will replace it with some day. Thanks for the upload.
I live in island and do a lot water sports. I recommend do not buy Bose flex. Mine just stoped working after around 10 months, as the unprotected charging port can be so easily corroded.
Thank you for this review, Jeremy. I’m debating between the Wonderboom 2 and the Bose Flex because of size and weight constraints. Your review gave me some good things to think about. I just got my first kayak, and go out on rivers and lakes a lot. Purely on sound quality outdoors alone, would you say these two are fairly evenly matched, or does one clearly have a better sound than the other?
Hi Ami, I appreciate the kind words! The Wonderboom 2 has a solid overall sound and the Outdoor Mode is a great feature that enhances the vocal clarity and high end if it gets hard to hear amidst other outside noise. It also has a smaller profile and 4 oz lighter compared to the Bose. However, if you want the best sound possible and can shell out the extra $50, I'd go with the Bose, as personally, I think it was the best overall sounding speaker. But, no matter your choice, I think you'd very satisfied with either 😀
The wonderboom for a few people by the pool. The motion boom for a little party or the pub and the motion boom + for a party of 20 + People. It's as simple as that. All sound awesome. Turn it up !!! 🔈🔉🔊
8:44 "... What would you pick?" IDK because you didn't even mention the Watts on them, or which ones have tweeters or which ones have AUX/USB/SD or or etc... Probably none really. Did you even mention *W-King?* Good, affordable, waterproof speakers that are rich in features. How did _W-King_ not even make the list?
"Smart devices?" What do you mean? Like integrated streaming services (Spotify, iHeartRadio etc) and voice commands? They are just speaker. No, "smart" features. All are Bluetooth. _Some_ have SD card slots, AUX in or USB.
@@waynedexter Well if you all you want is bass fine. If you are looking for a balanced sound that works with every genre this is a great option. You need to update the firmware as well to get the best out of it
I want it all when it comes to sound and the Earfun didn’t come close to providing that Also, way too many hoops to jump through with that firmware update, especially considering I don’t have/do windows I’m glad it worked out for you though Btw, one of my go to speakers is the Tribit MaxSound Plus
@@waynedexter I agree that the firmware shouldve been just through the app. Especially considering the impact of that update but still in the end it is worth it and makes the speaker a bargain.
I feel sorry for this guy a bit - if when playing a song using a portable speaker he's hearing sounds he's never heard before, that seems to suggest his home speakers and headphones are all garbage!
What’s with all the dumb facial expressions and miming ? Makes a fair review seem infantile and distracts from the information. And ditch the piercings while you’re at it. This is supposed to be a professional review.
Anker Motion+ or boom official site ( price down 10-20-30% only .. 1 mouth ~ price so down for 2-3 days only watching )! Price JBL baying 2 or 3 Anker speaker's!

I’m champing at the bit for the Wonderboom 3. Hopefully that version will have a smidge more bass. My only complaint

Woah you must be in for a treat 🤯. Enjoy!

Great video, infotainment to the max. What a fun in the sun version of a review.

Good review no lie 😎🇬🇾
Really?
Terrible review IMO.
Lacking information.
*Watts* aren't even mentioned, which is the most important thing when you're talking about speakers.
Very helpful

“Journalism”?! 😳
dude. it's TREBLE. NOT TREMBLE. LOL. I'm shocked a "professional" would make such a rookie mistake.
He makes my legs tremble 😩😤

dude it trying too hard to be the Apple Byte host .. oh dear.
No Earfun UBOOM L... So much for an 'Ultimate guide'
No disrespect but Uboom L sucks. I couldn’t return that speaker quick enough.

If they had an app. I’m sure they’re developing one now though.
You're gonna have to rein it in a little, dawg. Quirky is cool, but there's a limit. Sold review though.
none of these hold a candle to the sexy speaker
