      @@HuggiePoker hey bro one question cause I'm getting ready to play soon but 8 handed means 8 people max on table right?

      8-handed means there's 8 players at the table, unless someone is using it interchangeably with 8-max I guess. 😄

    Nice Vlog as usual with some interessting Plays 😅😅
    Do you think it is better to play 32ss OOP as a call or maybe as a 3B?! 🤔
    My Intention was to 3B, but i am not sure.. i dont completly dislike the Bluff in this Hand too. Sometimes you could bring him to fold better Hands, cause you have def. More 4s in your range, but i think the Betsizing in this one should be Higher then.
    In the AJo Hand, i guess i would def. Keep betting when I hit the GutShot on the Turn, glad it still worked out :)
    Lucky and fortunate Spot at the end with AA. Limped Aces do their Job sometimes🤣
    VAMOS TO 10K 💫🙌

    • @HuggiePoker
      @HuggiePoker 2 года назад

      Probably best to fold 32s OOP lol, but there were enough people in the pot at the time (and well, I was a bit card dead for awhile) that I guess I justified it.
      Going back tonight, let's hope I can hit my goal! 🤞

    Playing 1-2 you are playing well, preflop betting needs to stay under 20 normally, if you want higher plat 2-5 5-10

    • @HuggiePoker
      @HuggiePoker 2 года назад

      Thanks, man. I will say that everyone says the $1/2 and $1/3 games at The Lodge play like $2/5 to $5/10 elsewhere. I think that's especially true for $1/3 since it's a match-the-stack game, and people often have $5k+ in their stack at those games. I've been sticking to $1/3 a lot more lately, and took another shot at some $2/5 as well. Those will be in some upcoming vlogs.

    Another fantastic vlog hun. How do you decide how much to tip? I noticed that sometimes you tip $2 and other times you tip $3 xxx

    • @HuggiePoker
      @HuggiePoker 2 года назад +1

      Hey, Mel! I generally base it upon the size of the pot and how long the hand takes. If I win a small pot, I'll generally tip $1-2. If it's a bigger pot, but is a quick hand (e.g.: all-in pre-flop, no more action), then I'll tip closer to $3-5. In one huge pot I won recently, it was a 4-way all-in on the flop where I stacked 2 opponents. It took the dealer a long time to figure out all the side-pots and wait for all the action, and I gave him $20 since it was both a big pot and took a long time, which obviously eats into his tips from other hands that he could otherwise be dealing.

      @@HuggiePoker Thank you for the reply. I normally only play 1/1 atm cuz that's all my local casino offers atm. I usually tip 50p for small pots and £1-£3 for big pots lol xxx

    • @HuggiePoker
      @HuggiePoker 2 года назад +1

      @@melgriffiths1484 Nothing wrong with that! The tip is relative to the stakes, can't tip more than you win! 😄

    Aye huggie just been watching ur vids lol but what does it mean when a dealer calls for example checks on 8 please? Example 14:44

    • @HuggiePoker
      @HuggiePoker 2 года назад

      When someone wants to buy more chips (if they get stacked, or if they lose a pot and want to top off), that's how the dealer calls for the check-runner (person who brings chips). They'll come take your money and bring you chips so you don't have to walk over to the cage to buy them yourself.

  • @noahbatterson8591

    I’d say you call way too many all ins and heavy bets from way behind. You take down small pots over and over just to lose it in loose shoves. If you know you’re better than the table and can slowly net postive then don’t get greedy and go for a coin flip for hundreds of dollars. Play the long game and come out on top every time. I’ve been up my last 4 sessions by a lot and haven’t shoved or called a single all in

    • @HuggiePoker
      @HuggiePoker 2 года назад

      Yeah, I admittedly play a wider range than I probably should. I don't always, and I try to adapt my game to the table dynamics in some regards. I do the same with how aggressive vs. passive I am as well. All that said, I know there are times I play hands I shouldn't, and maybe even times I fold hands I should defend.

      I started with $320 in July and just got my $10k goal last night. I've been playing solely $1/2 with the exception of two $1/3 sessions. I played a lot in the mid-2000's, but I haven't played in the past 12 years before deciding to get back into the game.

    have you been mucking your cards when you dont have to show and making the other player show first so he cant muck if you win plus if you lose you can. Its all about gaining the most info while giving the least. Also I wouldnt announce your earnings unless you are keeping taxes on it Dont tell the govt what you are making. Just trying to help
