Dude he's awesome, how he sings these songs while playing is just crazy. Songs like 3s and 7s , do it again, or even most of the ones by Them crooked vultures are insane
@@Hevvvyyy while I certainly agree that them crooked vultures were epic, in my opinion, I think Queens Of The Stone Age were equally as if not, more epic
Cool pedal, released not long ago, I believe almost at the same time as the new Boss tape echo pedals. Great walkthrough of the riffs too! Josh's riffa are unique, he really has his own expression, which is something that few guitar players have.
I need to honor this video, dude :) never thought someone might try to play them croocked vultures sounds ! awesome taste ! queens of the stone age... what more I need to say :) keep on rocking bro ! really enjoyed this one
Mate I absolutely love your channel and have been a long time fan…Video after video of pure gold! Thank you for all of the effort you put into your videos
I haven't listened to loads of Kyuss tbh so not too familiar with his setup there, need to check it out more! Any tunes you'd recommend that use Tape Echo?
I have had 3 delays in my life 1st was a boss delay it was cool but expensive especially when I was in high school I didn’t have $160 +tax just laying around ,then I had a keeley mag echo I liked it better then the boss it was more natural sounding than the boss but it didn’t get as crazy n layered as the boss. now I have a Demonfx tape echo it’s pretty dam sweet n was only $52 the keeley was $150 but I was a working young man by the time I bought it not some broke kid anymore but $52 is a steal even now that I’m a professional carpenter the money is decent but I still love a good old fashioned cheaper than dirt deal on good gear.
@@HugoAndrade if you’re after a more growly qotsa/tcv tone then would recommend the Skeleton Key (although again I’m biased as I helped create it haha)
0:05 best noise you can make on a guitar, just the perfect flabby fart sound. That drop A tuning is the tits, Warsaw hits even harder than No One Loves Me
Idk if it's the cannabis or the DayQuil (hanging out with covid, here), but god dammit I love TCV. What an insanely powerful trio of men. Who let that happen? 🤌🤌🤌
Josh homme is probably one of the best guitar players out there. He’s such a creative musician.

Them crooked vultures were epic, hopefully we will hear more from them
Yea a reunion would be rad!
@@LetsPlayAll it's what we need to bring calm vibes to the planet 😄
I don’t like the chances. JPJ is looking oooooold.
@@Jimmyjames738 positive vibes only Jimmy 😁
They did do a “reunion” of sorts during the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert!
Josh has a really unique guitar sound. Thanks for your effort. 🍻
Homme is my guitar hero! Thanks for the demo, and for the cool ass playing. It’s been a plesure.
You're welcome mate!

Much appreciated mate, you're welcome!
Is all of TCV in C standard? Like normal killing it with these demos, can’t wait for all these how to riffs 😵💫
Thanks mate! No some are in std tuning thankfully 😀🤘
Some are in E standard, some are in open G, some are in Drop A 😬
That guitar sound really, really good! What is the distortion box?
thanks, can't actually remember for this one, likely used a few. Using this one at the moment tho :-) ruclips.net/video/ObUSdGBLMPA/видео.html
First time I ever saw someone playing Bandoliers in a video, I love that song!
My favorite off that album but I love every song
@@Psztyk236 yeah me too
Impossible to hear Bandoliers without the drums
always spot on
thanks bud!
Great video
In the next recording, don't use helium baloons before recording your voice over. Nice guitar play.. Keep that going.
I couldn't help thinking of In The Fade watching this.
is the overdriven/distorded sound coming from the amp or is it also a pedal
my amp runs just on the edge of breakup so would've been using another pedal i'd say :-)
@@LetsPlayAll u Sold it today to me 😂 I ordered one🎉🎉🎉
@@paranoid5332 nice, great little pedal!
Thanks 🤟🎸🔥

Try to make a Josh Homme overdrive tones he got using various 80s amplifiers
Already got an idea for that one so it’s on the cards - excellent suggestion 😀🤘
Where is this pedal manufactured? Thank you!
China I believe
Wow! Louis Ck can play
What distortion pedal is used?
can't actually remember for this one tbh, likely Funny Little Boxes 1991

so i gotta buy a tape echo now ffs lol
😂 you don’t have to - this is all want rather than need, but they are fun!
@@LetsPlayAll it's okay ill just rent one for a minute and then convince myself i need it anyway.
