Other major cities, Detroit for one, have a policy to let abandoned buildings burn while protecting exposures. It helps to stop repeated arson fires in abandoned buildings.
Way are the tower ladders not parallel to the fire building so they have a great scrub area ???
York city lost 2 firefighters a few years back doing cleanup in a warehouse like this. This was called defensive so as to not endanger firefighters
