builderman (which is also hatred) WANTED you to give in to greed and solitude, he WANTED you to succumb to them, but fear, hatred wanted you to beat it, because fear is essential to our survival, it makes us avoid danger, and in the game it makes us avoid hatred, and hatred doesn't want that. even in the dialogue fear is begging and pleading for us to not kill them, and to not fall for his lies. hatred knew that if fear was still a part of you, you wouldn't trust him, and he couldn't gain complete control. also, fear being the fearful instead of the feared is such a great twist, i cant wait for demo 4 to release
also i have a theory for chapter 4: because winter is coming up and the firebrand doesn't really fit the coldness of winter, i think chapter 4 will be a sort of winter wonderland, with everyone living peacefully, then someone is going to use the firebrand and cause havoc, like destroying ice bridges. idk if its a good theory but i like it.

Funfact:3 fear is equal to hatred in hard mode bc of damage and less sp that can be use It's hardcore but you can beat it in floor 39 if you master the dodge and attack and ice dagger (venomshanks and ghostwalker is useless for beat them)

Warn - Desprately pleads you to realise the truth, but it’s a waste of it’s turn. *Moves* Earth Shatter - Does the regular Earthquake, but after it’s done, there’s a mark on the ground, and randomly before anyone’s turn, it’ll explode, and will hit the entire party - deals 10 DMG - No blocks or dodges. Hurtful Truth - The laser attack, but it the beam lasts for longer (3 secs) and does 10 damage every 0.2 seconds you don’t dodge - Breaks blocks. Hiding in plain sight - Will turn the screen black, then showing 4 FEARs now, 3 are fake and 1 is real, choose the wrong one and the whole party misses their turn, and the fake explodes into 5 projectiles the party needs to dodge, the other fakes still exist, hitting the real one will make the fakes disappear, the fakes do the same damage as FEAR - Thorns deal 4 Damage and apply dizzy upon hit. Pleading Warning - Prevents the party from using moves the damage FEAR, or themselves. (Guilt effect - lasts for 2 turns) *Alternative Path* If you choose to defend all the way through the battle for 10 turns in a row, FEAR will take it that you have learnt that you need it and will calmly end the battle. With a “Thank you…” as his goodbye.
