Merced means grace, mercy, benevolence. James 1.17 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water, springing up into everlasting life. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3.16 For by grace are ye saved by faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2.8, 9. Jesus said that he stands at the door of our heart and knocks. If anyone opens to him he will come into their life and be the greatest friend and guidance anyone can be, as well as protector and deliverance from our own faults and errors. God is perfect and holy, and requires perfection to enter into heaven. Nobody can achieve that, except for Jesus. His righteousness is credited to our account simply by accepting him in faith as Lord and Saviour. That's the profound great mystery and glory of the gospel, which means good news. Eternal life is ours to receive, without any chance of our losing it, by believing on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. What could be better news than that? It's all written out in perfection in the true and unchanging word of God, the Holy Bible. I specifically refer to the King James Bible, because there are many counterfeits and flawed versions which have caused great uncertainty to many of the most sincere people. For there is a very real enemy, led by the fallen archangel Lucifer, which is the devil. Many will seek to discredit the Bible and the words of truth, always led by the unseen forces of evil. But we need not fear them, for with Jesus we are more than conquerors. The battle has already been won when Jesus paid the price for our sins by dying in our place. He proved his victory by rising from the grave, and appearing to many, and ascending before their eyes back to the right hand of God the Father in heaven, from whence he has prepared a place for all who follow him, and return to earth to rule as the Prince of Peace. True world peace. If the Holy Ghost is speaking to you that this is true, just pray to receive Jesus right now. Don't wait. Nobody knows when their final breath will be taken. After that, it's too late.
