The Mueller Hg80 Hinged knee Brace is ideal to provide support for all knee ligament (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL), cartilage (Meniscus) injuries as well as arthritic problems. The Knee Brace has two removable hinges. It features Kevlar fabric which provides great heat management. Antimicrobial barrier gives protection from bacteria, fungus and other micro organisms. Had a complete ACL reconstruction surgery 6 years ago, and was told by my doctor that I could not play badminton competitively anymore.

Hi, This brace probably won't help you out too much if you come off of your bike at any speed. It will certainly keep your knee central and stop lateral movement, but not if you crash! Unfortunately any brace that could help you avoid injury when in a crash would be very expensive. @gokerboy It would not be possible to use the brace while playing football or any other kind of contact sport as it has metal hinges in it. There is a version of this brace with small spring stays either side that would be more suitable for contact sports.

I'm looking for a brace to wear under my motorcycle leathers whilst racing. Do you think this brace would help at all if I went for a tumble? I had a tibial plateau fracture and have very bad lateral movement and extension to 5 degree's. when we crash our legs fly everywhere, so I'd love any advice you could offer.

how good is it for playing football all as i got knee dislocation 2 years back . is Nike open patella knee sleeve better ?

You probably won't be able to play football as the hinges are metal and could cause injury to another player or yourself. The Nike open patella sleeve is just a neoprene sleeve, only useful for compression and warmth.
