Thalia started when she was very young as a musical theather actor and eventually joined a extremely succesful 5 member child group in Mexico. When she first started as a soloist in her late teens early 20s she started as glam rock then very traditional merengue as her career grew. She moved on to spanish language pop, rap and house and eventually crossed over into english language with some hip pop rnb and has continued to adapt and try everything as the times have changed. She is so talented.

A quien le importa means who cares. This song in from the 80's but Thalia make a cover in the early 2000's. I think she did a great job, like you said is about live your own life without pay attention to criticism and negativity. Thalia recently did a collaboration with a singer from Peru, her name is Leslie Shaw and with Farina, a female rapper from Colombia. The song is called "Estoy soltera" wich means Im single. Nevertheless, if you want to hear something different, I suggest listening to "Monica Naranjo," she is from Spain, but her career skyrocketed in Mexico back in 1994, leading her to sell millions of albums, it was not till in the early 2000's, she decided to take a break because how corrupt the music industry was as well as a personal loss, and after 7 years being out of the limelight--decided to return as an independent artist, releasing an album called "Tarantula" and she has not stopped eversince. One of her iconic songs and video from that album is "Europa," I trust your judgment and critique and eventhough it may not be your cup of tea; I am sure it would be worth watching!
