The key is to know where the neutral axis passes, but it depends on a few different variables, such as material type and material thickness, etc. It means you have to calculate it when you do a bend and you have to do bending tests to take measurements. We use this factor for this material k-factor = 0.01745, because it gives you reliable results without the need for testing.
