Everybody in Hawaii has heard of this story, it's mentioned on the radio every year. This is the first time I get to see what happened. Those haoles are something else. Watching this movie for 24 minutes makes my blood boil, my stomach twist, and my neck tight.
The silliest thing they did was to run. They should have stayed at the hospital and given their story. As for the silly woman. After what the creep did to her, I would have named him lock, stock and barrel! For goodness sake, shielding him when he treated her like old garbage was too stupid to be real. Allowing the men who saved her to take punishment. SHE needs to go to jail! Rape victims are not named either, so it must have been different in those days. Pity no DNA, they could have got the creep straight away.

The main point is that the mother didn't care about the daughter and what had happened to her , she didn't not wanted to do something about it, in order the man that had been involved in it to be punished.
