    Hawaii feels like home the first time I went and got off the plane it felt like home that's why I moved there and lived there for 10 years best decision I ever made in my life I need to go back I miss it terribly

    You definitely need to see more of Hawaii. Hawaii is awesome. Pride of America has the best Hawaiian itinerary.

    The cruise was probably better since you had more family with you. My husband and I had booked a cruise around Hawaii before Covid hit. So the cruise was cancelled, but we flew to Hawaii and spent about 12 days. We stayed the first week at Kona, which was so much fun, and then the last week at Aulani on the big island. I loved both locations.

    So sorry your American trip to Hawaii was such a mess! I'm glad you enjoyed Hawaii after you arrived. I shared your video on X. Airline companies need to do a lot better because they COST so much!

    Greetings, Sorry about your connection problems but this is a great opportunity to share with us how you go about getting compensated when something like this happens. A life lesson on traveling, so to speak. Does travel insurance come into play here, or the new FAA regulations that mandate the airlines compensate passengers for these kind of issues? This is a golden opportunity for a much needed topic! Love you guys and precious baby Noa! Safe travels! 😎😎😎 Also, if you were going to book the exact same trip again, what would you do differently, booking-wise. You mentioned some of the things, such as time at various locations...but what about the booking.
    Forgive me, but I am making my comments and observations as I am viewing the replay of the live stream. FYI, your mic volume is at a tolerable setting, not to loud and not too soft, but Noa and Momma Donna just entered the room and the audio for their entry song is very very loud. No where close to the voice volume we were just hearing...so that was quite the surprise - shock and awe might be a good description! LOL! Luckily it was Noa, so all is forgiven! ☺☺☺ Need to turn that input volume to the left a little bit.
    Overall, great show as usual! Sorry for the troubles you had during your Hawaii adventure, but hopefully we can learn from your experience! They say experience is what you get when you don't get what you want... So it looks like you got some experience! Fair winds and following seas! 😎😎😎

    Look up the denied boarding compensation. They should have printed the information off for you or sent it to your email. Either way, they are responsible for quite a bit more than you received. In fact, for an unexpected overnight, should have been a minimum of $1,550, per ticket. I think the station manager is the only one who can issue that check at the airport but calling customer service they can escalate to a mgr who can do the same.

    I hate the Dallas/Fort Worth Airlines especially this time of year because of weather. Been there, done that, and it’s a pain in the rump. I had 4 hour layover, and we still missed our flight and had to stay the night in the airport to leave early in the morning

    I fly American frequently and agree they could be better, I always use the TSA cancelation and delay dashboard and make sure they compensate what is on the website, unfortunately they meet each item at the most cost efficient way for themselves and not for the customer, which always sucks. American is not my first choice but they have the most flights in the air so I always end up booking them. I definitely buy travel insurance now, it helps with the blow of delays or cancellations.

    For fruit dip I use a thing of marshmallow cream and an 8oz block of cream cheese. I usually put the cream cheese in the microwave for 15-20 seconds to make it easier to mix in. I add the marshmallow cream and the cream cheese to the mixer and mix for a few minutes. Then put it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours but preferably overnight. It’s soooo good!

    Untied does the same thing. Exact thing happened to us, and we landed at the gate right next to our plane!! Horrible service from both airlines!

    If your credit card includes trip insurance then you can be reimbursed for what American doesn't cover

    As people who travel often, ya'll should know better. Airlines don't hold planes. They are fined for delay's, just as cruise ships are. So, why would they put another flight at risk for that? For you? It's a for-profit business, not a non-profit. You should always prepare for not having your bags, just like you do getting on a cruise. AA isn't the only airline who does this. They ALL do. Read your contract of carriage before agreeing to it with your purchase. You're not the only one's inconvenienced, the agents and flight attendants don't have control, they have protocols or they lose their job. Move on, learn from the mistakes, and make the best of it.

      Delta has held flights for several of us since they were delayed. I’ve also had an airline reopen the door for me.

    I am so sorry about American. That stinks that they wouldnt accomodate you since their plane was late. Definitely, need more of a layover than 38 minutes because the airlines arent reliable.
