Fantastic video! This was the year I moved to Whitwell, a village just outside Worksop so I used to visit the town centre often. A real trip down memory lane - thanks for sharing.
The old Co-op store (now Matalan) and the three floor high Co-op store on Watson Road there (four floors if including basement area, think that is where the electronic equipment was e.g. Hi-fis, Televisions, etc..). Brought back lots of memories.
Also what I didn't say previously in my above comment was two Morris Itals together at 4:12. Won't get that today. This would have been taken after the A57 by-passed Worksop.

Take no notice! This was filmed many years ago! The town is rubbish! Council get grants for improvement. The latest is building a bowling alley where shops were! Who wants to come to a bowling alley? We need shops! Not everybody shops on line Cash is King!

Wow. I was born in 1984 so I vaguely remember bridge street before it was pedestrianised. Love watching these old films. Keep em coming.

The Canon crossroads up to Gateford Road hasn't changed that much apart from Courtalds Textiles that's long gone and Celtic Point.
Bits of Worksop remained unchanged.

I think there was 4 adults and 4 kids, in either a VW Caravelle or a Toyota Spacecruiser, both 8 seaters, can’t remember which😊
Why did they ever pedestrianise Bridge Street? The town is so run down now.
Pedestrianisation has ruined every town it was so they could charge for car parking like turning the outdoor market into - a car park🙉
