Wonder if the designers played Dark Messiah, the enviromental combat reminds me of that, that game taught you to fight dirty right from the tutorial and it was amazing for it.
im not sure, ive never played Dark Messiah. they sound like theyre in the same vein of creating an atmosphere in combat where you’re encouraged (if not required) to use anything and everything at your disposal to win
