One day im gonna sailing on The Sudan. One of my travel bucket list.
The narrator's pronunciations make me bristle. You could also play the Belle Epoch drinking game, a shot every time she says it.
Hahaha!
Me too. Is it an artificial voice, do you think?
The first time she said it, and even subsequently, I heard it as the 'Belly Puck' LOL It dawned on me eventually. But that did not take from my enjoyment of the video.
I didn't go throught to the end. What I would have like to know from the start is whether there is air conditioning on this historic boat. Having been to Egypt, many times on cruises on modern vessels, I know the terrible heat one can expect there. Also, are there private facilitied (toilets and showers) in canbins, apart from suites.
sFinally it is A-gathat. Not agAth - stress on the second syllable. It should be on the first.
Even so, a lovely reminder of happy holidays in Egypt and on the Nile.
Thank you.
Late comment but no, she pronounces Belle Époque correctly, perfect French pronunciation! The, is it an artificial voice or a real one I do not know ! They do speak French alongside the show and I am French, so maybe it is natural!
A gatha? it is Agatha, one word.
How much tickets per night or per person ?
Thanks
Watched Globetrekker last night and saw this amazing boat - can't wait to sail on her!
Michael Pinto, That's what brought me here too
We are planning on a trip soon also, amazing....
Not enough info on meals served on board.
Not enough information on anything other than her desire to experience white colonial privilege lol
Do you have a website where I can apply to work there? I love steam ships
Where can I get any information on how to take this trip ??
I agree with everything that Mr Swirly said, would also like to have seen what bathroom facilities if any. Or is one expected to bath in the Nile?
Of course there are bathroom facilities. Each of the 18 cabins and 5 suites has their own!
The 5 suites on board definitely each have their own bathrooms.

Never in the Nile. Do not even dip your hand into its waters - Bilharzia!
Why u don’t include prices, to give full info.
It's $3500 per person on average. That includes the cost of food, accommodation, guided tours, entertainment etc...
Does the SS Sudan have WiFi❓
My girl's inability to say Agatha correctly is so cringe to me.... No one told her how to say Agatha correctly?
Or how to pronounce Hercule properly!😂
aGATHa 😂
I would have liked to see the bathrooms, less about her colonial fantasies and more about the actual boat specs as well as what it costs and the food? I mean... Tours? Pretty video that is mostly fluff
"it's "he only steam ship still in operation today."
"Built in 1885."
This guy is just literally making stuff up?
It's a paddle steamer. The ones I have travelled on are driven by propellors. These are certainly not steamers. Do watch the film/movie Death on the Nile.
@@xotan I have! oh wait, you do mean that version with david suchet as poirot right?
(lots of actors tried to be poirot but most failed. only david suchet got it right)
Che siate maledetti!
