I am a blind 28 year old, whose greatest wish has always been to just have everything everyone else wants - a career I love, a stable, happy relationship and most importantly to feel successful and confident in myself. It has been beautiful and inspiring to watch your confidence grow this year, Carrie and I think mine has done the same. One thing I would recommend in terms of negativity on social media is writing a reply and then deleting it before you post it? For example, I’m someone who likes to get into debates on the internet...A LOT. And this is the thing that’s really helped me/stopped me from engaging in so much negativity. I see a comment or opinion that I don’t like, and I type out my best reply. And then, before I post it and start an actual argument in the comment section, I simply backspace, and leave it. This way, I feel I’ve gotten out all my frustrations and I’ve let out my thoughts/feelings, but I’ve not actually engaged in that negativity and it therefore doesn’t continue to affect me past those few seconds. Sorry if this didn’t make any sense, I’m just kinda rambling on here! Xxx
I used to do this, but its still engaging in the negativity that these trolls put out there. Its getting worked up, frantically trying to come up with an educated witty answer, for me personally its just putting labor in. Time I could have spent with looking at content I enjoy. In these situations, I read it, I breathe and let it go. These people don't deserve an answer, because most of the time they are not willing to listen. They are not there to maybe be educated or discuss, they are just dicks😅 Big kudos to you for being able to not press the send button, I could never do that😂💖

In regards to the question around 6:50. It's true, that you've accomplished a lot in 2018, and it's absolutely something to be proud of. In terms of 'topping' the previous year in 2019 though, I hope you do prioritise taking care of yourself this year (a.k.a that holiday by the beach with the cocktails). I love that you're a super creative and driven person, I just also want to see you taking care of yourself. (Which I may not see, or may not know about, especially given that you have a life outside of the camera/social media).

I desperately followed the Addams Family tour online but I’m American so sorting out going was just too tough, but once Heathers was transferred to the West End I knew I couldn’t miss it. You were *stunning* and I’m amazed by all you accomplished in 2018. Yeah 2018 was pretty insane and I'm so happy that I was able to be a part of such a huge chunk of it. I went to your concert, West End Does Animation, 8 Heathers shows, a book signing, and War of the Worlds! I'm glad you're starting to read again. I always feel like my work is very unstructured, immature and forced if I try to write when I've not been reading. I'm happy to see you doing what you can to get out of that hole. It's not always easy and I recommend having alternatives like audiobooks, podcasts and documentaries for when reading a physical book feels too hard. xxx

Ooooh, now I finally have a New Year's resolution - to read more! I always struggle to come up with any because I'm pretty happy with where I'm at in life and never feel the need to change things because it is a new year. However, reading is something I never seem to have time for now I work full time, but I'm moving to somewhere that I'll have a 40 minute train commute each way so a book will pass that time nicely :D

Huh, I really like your mindset on focusing on moving FORWARD rather than UP. I feel like there's sooo much pressure to keep moving up and up and up, but it's unrealistic. Life throws things at you sometimes that you just can't plan for or control. And you kind of have to accept that (because, what else can you really do?). You just kind of have to shrug it off (or deal with it the best way you can) and keep moving forward. I think I'm gonna try to adopt that mindset this year! Thanks, Carrie!

I was there for the last matinee of Heathers, unfortunately I didn't get any scrunchies as I was in the Upper Circle, but it made my heart melt anyway, because I was so happy for anyone who was in the stalls and I don't even know how to express it, but the love at that moment was unbelievable

I make all of my RUclips videos on my iPhone - a lot of new creators do since iPhones can film in 4K - maybe your iPhone is older if you think the quality of such videos is crap. You can plug in external microphones for better audio, and tweak all the camera settings just like on a digital camera, and even emulate physical effects achieved on an SLR. Xx
I love your positive and logical perspective of accomplishments over time. I spent most of last year in self pity that career wise my year didn't go 'up' as much as I would have liked it to; but seeing this makes me realise how far I've gone forwards by keeping going: Making hay whilst the sun shines and learning to dance in the rain. Question is - what can I do to retain a positive mindset, outlook and approach in the negative situations or life circumstances I cannot change and control? Xx

It's funny how life changes perspective, when I was younger and lived with my parents they always had an open house on NYE so family/friends/neighbours all came together to bring in the new year and it was always a big deal. However when i met my husband that all changed, you see his birthday is on NYE and even from an early age is birthday was always a low key kind of after thought and his family made more of a thing of celebrating new year. So since we've been together (24yrs) we've not really bothered with NYE celebrations instead our focus is on his birthday, he's just celebrated his 50th, so he's now officially celebrated more birthdays than those overshon!

Your reaction to that video.... just pure gold 😂😂 2018 for me was pretty busy... i housesat for a neighbour for 3 weeks,i went to Florida with someone who was pretty much a complete stranger for 2 weeks in which I turned 30... and then a month after that I moved out of the family home into a shared house which was something that i had been absolutely terrified of doing. Ive been in the shared house for 6 months now and am so glad i done it now. 2019 looking pretty quiet atm but September 2020 i will be going to Alcudia completely on my own which im excited but scared for 😂😂😂
My advice for new years and every day really, to quote Dory "Just Keep On Swimming" but in your case, I would also add, Whatever is on the horizon for you, be it massive and public or small and private, be epic and it will turn out good.

I make all of my RUclips videos on my iPhone - a lot of new creators do since iPhones can film in 4K - maybe your iPhone is older if you think the quality of such videos is crap. You can plug in external microphones for better audio, and tweak all the camera settings just like on a digital camera, and even emulate physical effects achieved on an SLR. Xx

I love your positive and logical perspective of accomplishments over time. I spent most of last year in self pity that career wise my year didn't go 'up' as much as I would have liked it to; but seeing this makes me realise how far I've gone forwards by keeping going: Making hay whilst the sun shines and learning to dance in the rain. Question is - what can I do to retain a positive mindset, outlook and approach in the negative situations or life circumstances I cannot change and control? Xx

It's funny how life changes perspective, when I was younger and lived with my parents they always had an open house on NYE so family/friends/neighbours all came together to bring in the new year and it was always a big deal. However when i met my husband that all changed, you see his birthday is on NYE and even from an early age is birthday was always a low key kind of after thought and his family made more of a thing of celebrating new year. So since we've been together (24yrs) we've not really bothered with NYE celebrations instead our focus is on his birthday, he's just celebrated his 50th, so he's now officially celebrated more birthdays than those overshon!

Your reaction to that video.... just pure gold 😂😂 2018 for me was pretty busy... i housesat for a neighbour for 3 weeks,i went to Florida with someone who was pretty much a complete stranger for 2 weeks in which I turned 30... and then a month after that I moved out of the family home into a shared house which was something that i had been absolutely terrified of doing. Ive been in the shared house for 6 months now and am so glad i done it now. 2019 looking pretty quiet atm but September 2020 i will be going to Alcudia completely on my own which im excited but scared for 😂😂😂

My advice for new years and every day really, to quote Dory "Just Keep On Swimming" but in your case, I would also add, Whatever is on the horizon for you, be it massive and public or small and private, be epic and it will turn out good.
