- Ive been getting a lot of dms on my Instagram of such great support. You all are so very nice and giving me kind encouragement, truly motivates me.

fun fact, you can basically split entschuldigung in 3 parts
Ent (= de-)
Schuld (= guilt)
Igung (= ending to turn something into a noun)
so we're basically asking to remove our guilt
The more formal word meaning only "excuse me" and not "sorry" is "Verzeihung"...
is it just me or I don't find the word difficult at all? I'm learning German lol

For Italians Spanish will always be a parody of Italian where every word ends with s, no matter what you say.

btw this isn't hate XD just found it funny lol, and Italians actually think (many of them) that Spanish is basically Italian but pronounced horribly and they just add an S to every word (for example they think to say "hello, my name is Giovanni, nice to meet you" you say "Ciaos, mis chiamos Giovannis, piaceres dis conoscertis")
Or if your trying to get passed someone or sm like that you can say con permiso

You should do how you say "island" in different languages. Swedish has an amazing word for it

It has the same meaning of “Sorry”

@@oindrilabasu3120 yes - but this specific phrase the native natural thing to say is ‘du hast Recht’. Difficult to understand for an English speaker, so I hope this helps
@@oindrilabasu3120 If you want to be understood in a foreign language, you cannot translate word for word and expect it to match actual phrases, you know? “You are right” in German is “du hast Recht” (as stated above), not “du bist rechts”, which in English means instead “you are on the right (position)”.
German sounds silly but does always make the most sense. "Entschuldigung" means "deguilty" (make me not-guilt).
In French you can say “pardon” or “excusez moi”
In Deutschland ist entschuldigung normal
In Germany is Entschuldigung normel
In Spanish we also can say “con permiso”
Or "perdone"

Although more used in South America, you can also use permiso, which means permission, which is basically a synonym for excuse me.

In Japanese there’s two meanings for this word but imma use “excuse me” so that would be Sumimasen the other translation for this word is ‘sorry’ which is what is the more common use of this word in Japan
